We spent three nights at the Scalloway and found it t be an excellent little hotel with friendly helpful staff with a restaurant providing food of a good standard. It is positioned well on Shetland to enable you to visit places of interest.

We visited for a meal with local friends, it was their recommendation and very worthwhile. The choice of food was not large, but every time looked good and fresh. We all enjoyed it tremendously and would recommend it to others.

Have been waiting in eager anticipation to return to the wonderful Scalloway Hotel. Our last visit was due to delays at the airport but this trip was planned for some time and how delighted we were to be back at this excellent establishment.
We stayed one night at the hotel and had a very pleasant meal in the bar watching the rugby then football.
The room was very good and both the room and the hotel were clean and comfortable.

I can't think of any trials which would be held in an area you could walk to, but I will make some enquiries and get back to you. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
