Well, i can't say enough good things about this place and the family that run the hotel. Everything so beyond perfect.

Firstly, i've got to say the images of the hotel on Tripavidsor and Booking.com do not do it justice. When you arrive the hotel is even better in person, everything is done to a very high standard.

Rooms, I paid the extra for a sea view room and for me it was worth it, but get to look at the beautiful bay of Kamares. Room was done to a very high standard with toiletries provided and great wifi.

Location, about an 8 minute walk from the port, so easy to get to even if you've a large luggage, just make sure it's on wheels. restaurants are all within 5 minutes walk and you can be on the beach in 2 minutes.

Breakfast, this is buffet and you can either, sit inside, sit in the main garden or actually take it to your room and have it on your own balcony. There is a great selection at breakfast. Everything from pastries, cakes, cereals, fruit, bread etc. Plus also good coffee and very nice orange juice.

Hosts, They are so nice the hotel is named after the lady who runs it and was built by her parents in 1989. She was managing the hotel day to day, but her parents are also there and all very friendly, plus they've two very adorable cats.

Well I was staying there, I managed to badly sprain my foot on a run. Myrto couldn't do enough for me. For a few days I was unable to walk very far. Myrto, brought me breakfast to the room, took me to the pharmacy (there's only one of the island), supplied me with ice regular for my foot. What super hosts.

Based on my injury I didn't get to see as much of the island that I wanted, so I will be back and I will stay here again.

Do not hesitate to book this place.

This was our fourth time in the beautiful Sifnos, first time at Myrto Hotel. Unfortunately we only had one night to spend in Sifnos, in between ferries.

We had not stayed at Myrto’s before and we were VERY impressed by the hospitality, the attention to customer’s needs and customer satisfaction!

Despite having never been there and staying only for one night, Margarita and her husband welcomed us in such a wonderful way!

They gave us advice for our walk the next day, offered us lemons from the garden and home made cookies! It was like being hosted by friends!

The hotel’s location is very convenient: it is walking distance from the Kamares harbour and beach, as well as restaurants and shops. The bus stop to Apollonia is only 2-3 min on foot.
The room was simple but spacious and very pleasant - it had all we needed at a great price/quality ratio.

We highly recommend Myrto Hotel and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful little hotel with spectacular views of mountains (& beach from my room). Spotlessly clean, the Hotel is in a perfect location about 100 yds to the beach, restaurants & beautiful shops - all so close to the Port. Bus stop is right outside taking you to other villages. Hosts Margarita & Kostis really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed & at home - it is Margaritas passion to make your stay memorable and I can say she most certainly did! Thank you.

I have just spent 12 nights at the Hotel Myrto in Kamares. And I will definitely stay there next time too! I got the friendliest of welcomes from the lovely owner, Margarita, upon my arrival! She spent time showing me to my room and explaining about the place to me. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made some delicious homemade apple pie and left it in my room for me! My room (Room 13) was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean! A nice comfortable bed, and a dual aspect room - one window facing east for the sunrise and then patio doors out onto the balcony, which faces the beach. The bathroom is also beautifully decorated and the shower is spacious - which can be unusual in Greece! Great facilities, including excellent air con, a TV, a luggage rack, wardrobe etc. Everything you could possibly need and plenty of outside common terrace areas to hang out and meet other people. A 5 minute walk down to the town and the beach. I couldn't fault this place and I will be returning there next time I stay in Kamares. 10 out of 10!

If you go to Sifnos, please stay here!
My mother and I stayed in a double room with a queen sized bed.
Rooms are simple, clean and cozy! Rooms were with well functioning AC and mini fridge, which is more than enough of you stay for a couple of days.
Communal areas are perfect for relaxing and eating breakfast.

Breakfast was with all the local essentials; Greek yoghurt, honey, fresh fruit, bread and good coffee.

The star of the show: Our sweet host.
She’s always available for answering questions, and she’s visible so she’s easy to reach.
She’s helpful with recommendations of sights around the island. She planned an entire day for us with amazing places of “must dos” around the island. She’s even really helpful with recommending authentic local tavernas, for sublimely Greek eats.

Please stay here if you want a local Sifnos experience. We’ll, for sure, be back here again.

An excellent stay in a charming port town.
This small place is located a short walk from the port where the ferry arrive. Clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms however simple in the nice way awaits you, and the most kind hosts as well. They provide you with everything you need to about the island, which in it self is a gem. There is a relaxed and very nice beach within a 5 minute walk where you can take is easy after exploring the island. I can highly recommend Myrto hotel and the island Sifonos for those like me want to escape the crowds and enjoy a simple life.🇬🇷

We had a lovely large double room with sea view. We had fun watching the boats come in and out. We wanted to do our own breakfast so the hotel kindly gave us plates and spoons which they changed every day. The room as very quiet and clean - just a few minutes walk from local shops, restaurant and beach. The owner was friendly and helpful, giving us a map and directing us towards places of interest on the island.

Unfortunately there was little natural shade on the balcony so we couldn’t use it in the afternoon or early evening.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The bed was nice, the room was very comfortable with a lot of privacy and quietness. Where this hotel excels in, is its sevice. The entirity of its staff were so happy to be working there and mingling with the guests. We received amazing tips on what to do on the island and everything was so joyable.

Beautiful family run hotel - this was my second stay. Margarite & Kostas are so helpful & kind, it's like staying with family. Rooms are spotlessly clean, bedding/ towels changed daily. Kettle & fridge - lovely little balcony with all important sea view.
