Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My fiance and I stayed here in for two nights - The rooms were oustanding and there was everything that we needed supplied. The proprietors were a lovely couple and so friendly - they even made sure that I was my dietary requirements were catered for. I cannot recommend this lovely place enough and we will be staying here again.

The proprietors remain fully committed but the constraints of the Covid regulations have had their impact in terms of the service they can deliver and it is clear they feel this. That said it is unlikely guests will feel too much deprived .

Outstandingly good service from dedicated professionals who make you feel entirely welcome. The accommodation is superb and would make most hotel rooms look pale in comparison. The rooms are clean and well appointed and beautifully furnished. The decor is bright and clean and the house itself retains its original Edwardian character. The breakfast was superb with a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and juices and the cooked breakfast absolutely delicious. The house is in a perfect position to explore Romney Marsh and the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and of course the astonishing and iconic Dungeness Peninsula. I thoroughly recommend this place if you appreciate character and charm and the best of British service.

I've stayed here many times when visiting family in the area. The place is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are comfortable. Wi-fi works well, which I appreciate as I normally need to work at times during my stay. Breakfast is excellent and Carol and Peter are friendly welcoming hosts. If in the area, I recommend that you stay here.

the place was easy to find and plenty of space to park. Carol greeted me and was so warm and friendly. I had a single room which was a good size and clean. lots of tea and coffee with some candies and biscuits which was a nice touch. In the morning i had a lovely breakfast, i felt nothing was too much for Carol and Peter and made my stay trouble free. highly recommend, beautiful building and well priced.

I have stayed here twice now and have found absolutely nothing to stop me from staying again . I can't comment or make any comparisons on the rooms as I've been in the same one on both visits , but it was spotlessly clean and well stocked with Tea , Coffee and hot Chocolate. The lounge and breakfast rooms were equally spotless and the breakfasts second to none. There plenty of parking space at the front and a beautifully maintained garden in the rear-with a swimming pool This is well patrolled by a really cute guard tortoise.

We have just returned from a 1 night stay in this lovely B&B. We had a twin room with a view of the stunning garden. The room was lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I have had in a B&B, full English with as much coffee as you could drink. We will be visiting again real soon.

When we arrived it looked fantastic from the outside and hoped that would continue inside and we were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed and shown to our twin room which was fantastic as the photos show! The beds were very comfortable and has the usual tea/coffee and tv as you would expect! After a good nights sleep we went for breakfast, a full English with Kentish sausages! Cereal and healthy options were also available! Our room was £80 for the night, which was great value for our room! The only 'moan' if you can call it that was the shower took a while to heat up but once it did no problem! Carole and John are great hosts and we thank them very much! We will be back!
