Needing some fresh air we chose to go to Stemnitsa - a village that is very pretty set into the mountains . Mpelleilo is run by Nena who inherited the house through her family and loves it. Knowledgeable she wants everyone to enjoy being in this house in comfort with fires and good food for breakfast. Perfect for a short...

We spent a weekend at Mpelleiko and enjoyed the great hospitality. Lena, the owner will make you feel at home and makes a delicious breakfast. The pictures on their site really cannot convey the warm and cosy feeling of the rooms. A beautiful guesthouse in a beautiful mountain village. Perfect for a getwaway to switch off and relax. Can't speak about how much we enjoyed our short stay here. This was possibly one of our best stops along our Greek journey. Lena was awesome at giving tips and making us feel truly welcome. I enjoyed our conversations about politics, and was great at allowing me to ask many questions that I had, which I truly treasure. The breakfast...

Locaties in a quiet street in a quiet village in a quiet region, this is a place for rest-seekers! Nice breakfast with home-mades. Visit the monasteries in the Lousiosgorge. You will not be disappointed when you stay here.

Lena provides a warm welcome and does everything she can to make you welcome. She met us in town and showed us the way to the house and then made us tea and gave us a snack. She makes you feel like you are a guest in her house rather than a hotel. Lena's breakfasts are so nice with home...

although we were not able to spend as much time as we liked in this place we loved it the most. Mpelleiko house is a lovely cosy little place with wonderful hospitality. Nena the host was very accommodating and extremely helpful, she has a vast knowledge of the area and often has perfect recommendations.

We very much liked this place and it's host, Nena. We were given an big room, with adjoining terrace, which might be on the migrating route for skunks, unfortunately we haven't met one. Excellent breakfast, we also liked the other guests in this place. The village is at easy walking distance (with some descending and ascending), off season - staying...

The location of the hotel was just stunning with fabulous views. The group of us were there for several days and Nena the owner was just so welcoming and nothing was too hard. The breakfast was fabulous and the ingredients used were mostly from her own garden. The various jams were made by her mother so they were just amazing....

My family and I recently visited Stemnitsa. We stayed with Nena at Mpelleiko Traditional House. Our room was excellent - clean, comfortable, traditional, and with a great view! The breakfast was excellent! But the best thing was the hospitality provided by Nena, the owner. Her hospitality and advice made our stay a truly memorable experience - we will definitely go...
