We were collected from our hotel and escorted to the Belvedere on skidoos by the employees, really fun. The food is first class, a little pricier than some other restaurants in the area, but it is worth a visit as it seems to have more of a high end twist on the cuisine. I chose well from the menu and... More

This was the sort of ski experience that you dream of. My Scottish father in law thought he was James Bond. This is an inexpensive Mountain lodge at the top that you ski to or have them pick you up in snowmobiles. The staff were fantastic in every way. Tailored gourmet food described by the chef nightly, better make sure you ski... More

We have been several times up here - with sci for lunch or in the evening having been picked up by the snow-mobile for dinner. The food is really good, people working here are welcoming and helpful and you will enjoy the rustic charme of this old wooden lodge. For the first time, we stayed overnight and we can also... More

A part of me doesn't want to write this review as I want to keep this special place to myself but this gem of a rifugio deserves all the success it can get and it doesn't get much more special than this for a good value "ski in ski out" mountain getaway. We've been trying to find a weekend to... More

Me and my Polish wife spent 3 days in the rifugio with our respective parents, to integrate the 2 families after the wedding. Due to weather conditions the slopes to reach the rifugio where closed but we decided to accept the challenge. It was one of the best decisions ever! The new managers Alessandro and Eric and their staff organized... More

Been there a few times, the place is really nice, especially if the whether is good and you Get the chance to stay outside, and this is what makes me go back every non and then...but the food is quite average and definetly overpriced. The staff could also try to be more friendly....

OK, so we didn't read the directions properly and didn't realise there's a climb involved. However, Eric does a wonderful job shuttling guests up the mountain and we walked down the next morning which was worth it for the wonderful views. The hotel is set on a magnificent spot with the Matterhorn in clear view. The rooms are more than... More

Stayed for three nights at the end of the skiing season. Early fall meant I spent more time at the Rifugio than planned. Excellent food, far beyond what you would expect in a mountain hut, with a varied lunchtime menu and a inventive set meal in the evenings (non-residents can be snowmobiled up from the village). Rooms are comfortable. But... More
