We have stayed at Stadel Soussun four times since the first time we went with a big group of friends for lunch in 2010. Each time if has been delightful and we look forward to the next visit--we have stayed with friends, with our older children and just the two of us. Sergio and Stefania know so much about the...

8 of us visited this restaurant in Champoluc when skiing recently. To get to the restaurant you have to ski off the piste down a track, which in our case with not enough snow, proved entertaining. However when we reached the place we found a little gem. The restaurant is rustic in style but the welcome was warm and the...

I have to start by saying that the restaurant is really charming being constructed of a large vaulted stone room with a cosy fireplace and well designed lighting etc. Coming in from a cold snowy day after skiing down a track was a real delight. The welcome we received was quite pleasant although a little reserved. We only ordered a...

We had our Christmas lunch here and it was fantastic. There wasn't any snow at this level so we skied part of the way and were then picked up by piste basher, an experience in itself. We were a large party of 12 and as it was a lovely cold sunny day we had drinks outside. The antipasta starter was...

thanks to ski2 for recomending and booking lunch here. The best meal of our trip. a stunning easy ski through snow covered trees to a delightful, very friendly restaurant that welcomed an extra person to our original booking of 6. Food was fressh and delicious. Wine slipped down easily and the children did not get bored by our rather extended...

We spent 4 days here in February, the weather was very cold with high winds but our welcome from Sergio and Stefania was warm and we were so well looked after. We had stayed once before about 4 years previously when we had the place to the 4 of us - so spoiling! Dinner every night was delicious on our...

This abandoned place with lovely looking farmhouse of 16 century seems to be a perfect place to those who come to enjoy skiing in Monte-Rosa. However first opinion vanishes as soon as you get acquainted a bit closer: the house is a rebuilt granary so don't be amazed to discover that there' s no stairway - you have to use...

We reserved a table for 7 at this restaurant for lunch, as we have done for the past 3 years. Its is a great find, set off the piste in its own area, an old and charming farmhouse with lovely cosy interior. The food is great, beautifully sourced and cooked. We booked the restaurant as the owner will usually pick...

We stayed here for 2 nights in January. Its an exceptional hotel, with only a few bedrooms, a delicious menu and enough history and ambience to really stand out. Very comfortable and very welcoming. We arrived late and were met off the cable car. We skied all day and met our bags at the cable car too. Great service.

We only visited for lunch, which was a very good descision. To sit by the fireplace looking out at a slow snowfall, eating excellent Food - like a "christmas fairy-tale" And then a snowmobile-trip back to the pist. A really memorable moment - don't miss it!
