Our second visit to Chez Jean, but now the girls have become teenagers, and we needed a little more space. Now Chez Jean has a two-story apartment. Perfect for the four of us. The girls slept in the mezzanine level upstairs. Two bathrooms made getting ready in the morning easy. Room was very quiet too. Loved our stay!

I would be writing a less enthusiastic review were it not for the owner as he really made the stay. A very relaxed and helpful person who made us feel welcome and guided us to a few nice restaurants. The room was quiet and clean and even had air conditioning which was a bonus given the warm temperatures at the...

When I arrived at the hotel, I decided to walk around the ground floor as it was raining outside. I asked for a beer, and the lady said ´no English´... I insisted saying that beer is almost an international word and very similar to French biere, Italian birra, etc... She called a waiter who made me an angry face upon...

I stayed here with connection to a work meeting. Central location with the trainstation near by, but no nise during the night. Low price and cosy rooms. It appears that there is a long time since the rooms have been renovated, but they were really charming. So was the staff, very friendly. Good brekfast service.

We parked nearby without problems. Our room was in the new part of the hotel, clean, comfortable, quiet. Family run. Lovely staff. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had a great meal. Breakfast buffet was generous and tasty.

I have stayed at this hotel quite frequently while traveling to Schalbach, France. It is a nice hotel run by a family. They do not have a lot of English here, so try to catch up on a bit of French before arrival. They have the "old" part of the hotel and the new part. The rooms in the new...

We had the junior suite which can sleep up to five people. A comfortable room with a bathroom, shower room, two WCs, two televisions and a writing desk. Attractive dining and breakfast rooms with plenty of good food. Ideal for the railway station and shops.

We wanted an easy stop over on a drive back from Austria. I chose this because it had a restaurant, we could reserve a covered garage (parking outside is limited and I wouldn't want to leave anything flash out there anyway) and the room quality was good with recent refurbishment (described as 'brand new' and looked it). I also thought...

Good sized, very comfortable room and bed. The separate wc was convenient as too the large shower and washroom.I believe there are different blocks of accommodations, each room is decorated differently and sometimes quirky. Some have floral balconies. Breakfast was ample with local conserves and regional cuisine . They also offer Spa treatments. I didn't sample them but a visit...

This hotel offers something extra in so many ways: its decoration, how friendly the staff are, the superb bedrooms, the food, the general atmosphere. Only one negative - parking is v limited. We were fine, managed to park just outside, but there aren't many spaces. For us the best aspect was the beatiful bedroom (rm 303). Can't speak for any...
