My wife and I had our first trip with Saga in early September 2016. travelled to Munich from UK (Heathrow) then coach to Kaltenbach, Hotel Post for the week. A stunning setting, hotel was immaculate, all staff were fantastic and all service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We often get very disappointed when we stay... More

This family-run hotel is staffed with really lovely and friendly people (receptionists, waitresses, bike housemaster etc)! Our room (shared by 3) was sizeably large; it had a double bed and a single bed; plenty of space for our luggage and a large wardrobe closet. Bathroom in our room had a modern shower cubicle & spotlessly clean. Our room faced the... More

We previously stayed in the hotel during March 2015 for skiing and had such a wonderful time that we wanted to return for the summer. After hearing how much we enjoyed the winter trip my boyfriend's family wanted to come too. Glad to say that none of us were disappointed. As always fantastic, fresh food in a hotel that is... More

We couldn't have stayed in a lovelier hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place was impeccably clean. The food was exquisite. The only downside was there was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms and the temperatures were over 30 every day-weren't we fortunate! The communal areas were air-conditioned, however, and there were plenty of places to sit. Our... More

Stayed here from 5th to 12th August. The hotel was very clean & comfortable & the staff friendly & helpful. Ideally located, close to Zillertalbahn stop so easy to see other towns along the valley. The food was excellent, with eggs cooked to order as well as the buffet of fruit, cereals, bacon, sausage, cheese etc. Evening meals were equally... More

Kaltenbach is situated at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level in the heart of the Ziller Valley (Zillertal) in the picturesque Austrian Tyrol and is primarily one of many small winter sports villages. However, summer in the Zillertal is extremely pleasant and if you like beautiful scenery and peaceful spotlessly clean Austrian villages, this could be the place... More

We stayed here for the skiing and already want to come back for the summer. Rooms Rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. No bath in our rooms but shower was comfortable but as the spa in the hotel is very well equiped you don't need it (although there is no hot tub either). Facilities Fantastic food, breakfast and dinner exceeded... More

We stayed last week in hotel Post for a skiing holiday with three families. The hotel is nicely renovated but still in a warm austrian atmosphere. Clean and well furnished rooms. Excellent food: large breakfast buffet (eggs instantly made with love ;-))), splendid diner with various options for main course, and we had one of our group with an allergy... More

This is a very good hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and ours in particular was at the southern end of the hotel with views of the mountains near Mayerhofen and also views of the mountains to the east and west. Stunning! A slight drawback was the close proximity of a fairly busy roundabout and traffic started to... More
