Very nice family owned Hotel with personal atmosphere. It has not been the last time we stayed there. Close to the autobahn and yet far enough away from it. Excellent breakfast to start into the day of sight seeing and / or hiking or biking. Several historical high lights in town or very close to it .

I stayed often for business in the hotel. The business rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Furthermore a warm welcome, a good breakfast and a central location with parking. No more own restaurant but there are good places nearby.

Thank You Josef for your succinct and honest appraisal of our porperty! Best regards from Kremsmuenster, between Mozart and Strauss! By the way 2017 will be marked by the state garden exhibit on the abbey grounds. It will also result in lasting infrastructure improvments for the community.

It is the second time I stopped to sleep at the Hotel Schlair during a business trip in Austria. The people working there are very friendly, the rooms are big enough, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast choice in the morning.

During our Kremsmuenster Benedictine Abbey visit, we stayed at the Hotel Schlair for two nights and felt right at home. Great friendly service by the owners, Erik and Maria; a clean comfortable room and delicious breakfast make this a hotel we would definitely stay at again.

If you want a small, warm and friendly Austrian hotel, the Hotel Schlair more than fills the bill. Owners, Maria and Erik Cux, were extremely friendly and helpful. Bedroom was immaculate, warm and cozy with very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The small, intimate bar and lounge had a fireplace going during the cool evenings. We enjoyed the living room...

I stayed at the Schlair Hotel for two nights (27 Jan - 29 Jan 2014). I arrived late, so they left my room key on the reception desk for me. I arrived around 2:30 a.m. and found the key just where they said they'd leave it, along with a nice little welcome note. Unfortunately, the key didn't work and I...

“Ask for extra pillows and a blanket. The rooms are heated with a small radiator. Be sure to specify that you need a double bed, unless you want to sleep on a child's bed. Lastly, avoid the heavy set American guy. He's a firecracker and tends to lose his temper very easily.”
