Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband & I, along with our little Cavalier King Charles dog, stayed here on our way to catch the Skybus at Lands End and on the way back also. Drew and Ang were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was very comfortable and Ang has put all the Covid19 rules into place. We felt very safe. Drew is an amazing chef. We ate there each night, having first chosen what we would like. It was all delicious, including the cooked breakfasts. I would certainly recommend Dalswinton House to anyone looking to stay in the Newquay area.

Have been going to hotel for about 18 years and have seen many changes primarily made by current owners Drew and Ang and all for the better. As first week after lock down lifted rooms were spotless and all the necessary measures had been put in place to keep us safe. Our two greyhounds thoroughly enjoyed themselves and as all pet owners know, if your pets are comfortable and relaxed, then so are you. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

This is our fourth visit to Dalswinton & as always the welcome from Drew & Ang is second to none, we stay in the Garden Lodge, which offers a fantastic location fir our break with our 7 yr old Doberman (Belle). Dalswinton offers a great location which allows to explore the nearby locale. Highly recommend both Dalswinton & Drew & Ang as hosts.. The lodge offers two bedroom pans decking area which allows seclusion if required

We have just returned from spending 7 nights at the Dalswinton. We were afforded an extremely warm welcome by Drew and Ang which continued throughout out our stay. Our breakfasts were second to none, accommodation very comfortable and spotlessly clean with generous tea-tray provisions; replenished daily. Bathroom facilities were to the same excellent standard. This was our 3rd year at the Dalswinton and we have booked again for next year.

We stayed for 6 nights and found the owners very friendly and helpful and the place cosy and very clean. The meals are good home cooked food, with the meat/fish purchased fresh every day. Well worth a stay.

We have been going to this B&B for over 12 years. The current owners Drew and Ang are so welcoming and friendly it is a joy to be there. Food is excellent - proof of this is that Martyn has two sizes of tee shirts - one for the beginning of the holiday and a larger size for the second week! The dogs are made very welcome and if they are happy we are happy! Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. At end of this holiday booked for next year.

My family and I have been visiting Dalswinton for the past 20 years and have seen it pass through 3 hands; Ang and Drew are wonderful hosts and I would simply not go anywhere else in Cornwall when I visit. The grounds are suitable for lots of dog walking and the nearby beach (10 min drive) is amazing for all - I have grown up here and see it as my second home. The house itself is warm, welcoming and feels like it's your own. We stay in the lodge nearly every time we visit as we have 3 large dogs, and they seem to love it too. Veranda is suitable and the hot tubs are very relaxing. Couldn't recommend more! :)
