Dropped in after a brief stop in St Mawgan. Food was fantastic, had the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich. Keep that on the menu when it changes .... pity we couldn't get back before coming home. Beautiful place for a walk out.

Loved the Falcon. Hosts couldn't be warmer or more accomodating. Pub is a favourite with locals so there are always characters there with obligatory dogs in tow. Food is great - fresh fish and best ploughmans. But rooms are the biggest surprise. We took 2 of the 3 rooms in the pub and they were charming, cosy, not too small....

I suppose the important question is “would we go back again?” – the answer is “absolutely, yes”. We were a family group of five adults, having a 'Birthday Lunch' to celebrate my mother's 80th. We had never been before, but Mum had heard it was good and wanted to try it. We booked in advance, although as it turned out...

Came in for lunch and was so disappointed with the rudeness of the staff. Waited at the bar to be served after a family before me, however after they had finished ordering, the bar lady walked off in the other direction and ignored me! The local chap who was sat at the bar said to the bar lady " I...

By the time you get to mid-August the good people of seaside village pubs can start to get a little cheesed-off with tourists, especially in those really busy towns around the coast of Cornwall. So how great our joy to find a pub with huge amounts of garden, unsuspectingly down a very tight lane close to the airport (alothough you...

A good selection of beers, and the food is good value - reasonable quantities, good quality, and a good selection. Does get busy, particularly during the summer holidays, so booking is advisable. Great garden.

Thank you for this lovely review, it is very much appreciated. David does try his very best to provide a good range of beers in the pub as everyone likes to choose something different! With the food again we try to provide an overall cover of different tastes.

We were house/animal sitting for friends and visited the Falcon on their recommendation. We took the two dogs along and had a table outside in the pretty cobbled courtyard. The table top was a large slab of slate which was really effective. We had artisan breads and smoked salmon and prawn cocktail to start, breads warm and tasty and fish...

Lovely pub to drop into for lunch! We were planning to go for a walk so just ordered soup and it was extremely tasty and satisfying. Would return when we had more time in order to sample more food! Lovely forecourt.

Lovely location in a quiet pretty village. Very friendly staff and good food. Spacious, clean, comfortable room overlooking the garden. We stayed here one night before we flew to the Isles of Scilly from Newquay airport. Good value for money and we paid £15 extra for transfer to and from the airport (5 minutes away) and parking in the pub...
