Perfect host, very simple, not too expansive for the country, he was present to give us advises for fishing. The place is really typical. We ´ve really enjoyed our stay there! And we strongly recommand it! The belgian guys! ................

I read about this place out of an Israelis backpackers' blog in Norway. It was obvious from their experience that Stamsund Hostel is one of the places not to be missed in north of Norway. I loved it and I do hope to be back...More

It depends is the answer. Time you have? Budget? Bus from Narvik to Svolvaer then Hurtigruten boat to Stamsund is possible Andrew
