Today is my last day at margarita beach hotel. Me and my girlfriend checked in for 6 nights and we are ABSOLUTELY satisfied on most (if not all) things. The hotel is runned on a family base. Wich isn’t hard to see and got our full respect. Restaurants are in a veeery close range. They even have a bar at the hotel and a Taverna so close to the beach, if you fall over with your chair you would fall into the beach. English is absolutely no problem here, even german.

Thank you. We will recommend this hotel to our friends for sure! <3

Wonderful family driven hotel. Such a nice place, right on the beach. Good food, perfect service, very nice taverna.
Clean, wonderful view, perfect location. This is a home away from home. Highly recommended.

This hotel is wonderful, perfectly located on the beachfront at Moraitika. The rooms are modern, airy and well kept. The hotel is updated and improved every winter, so the standard remains high. I have stayed here several times over the years and highly reccommend it. However, if you check out the photos for the Margarita Beach Hotel on tripadvisor, it actually takes you to photos of the Margarita Studios, which are totally different and NOT part of the Margarita Hotel. The hotel has lovely modern furniture, a beautiful pool and a wonderful beachside taverna which serves delicious food at lunchtime.
If you want to look at photos of the hotel, I suggest you look at the facebook page for the Margarita Corfu, this will show you what the hotel is really like.
Finally, the beachside taverna is worth a visit even if you are not stahying at the hotel. There are daily specials, a good menu, and the food is always freshly made. The prices are reasonable too.

Been going to Margarita Beach Hotel since i was a child so lets say over 20 years! Staff very friendly rooms immaculately clean, pool clean and lovely. Theres a breakfast room outside & inside bars. Right on the Beach so you can pop back to your room at anytime! Beaches outside this hotel are the best around in my opinion. We wouldnt return for many years if we wasnt happy! we have been all over the world and only ever return here! Corfu all the way!

I have stayed at the Margarita Hotel on several occasions, and visited the beach bar and taverna many more. It is a wonderful, family run hotel right on Moraitika beach. The hotel adds improvements every year and is constantly updating and striving to improve. The rooms and reception area are pleasant and spacious. The pool is a decent size for swimming, and most importantly, is well maintained and clean. The photos shown here by tripadvisor are NOT of this hotel, the Margarita is much nicer!!

Very much your typical Greek Hotel. Rooms are large (We had a superior room, I just thinks this means TV, Fridge and Safe are included), basic, but plenty of space for clothes. Probably the best shower, in terms of power, I've had in 20 years of travel to Greek Islands!
Only 45 rooms and right on the beach. By Greek standards the breakfast is extensive and well served. We were the only English couple, which suited us fine, but mainly popular with German couples/families.
Warm welcome and personal send off by family.

The attached taverna serves a good range of food and drink, however, when we were there, late June, it closed around 18:30 - there are 5 or six other tavernas within a 5 minute walk.

My only criticism would be (Although advised by the brochure) being charged for sunbeds and umbrellas within the grounds, which is very shaded and quite - you are charged exactly the same at the beach which can get very crowded, but this does add considerably to the cost of a holiday - of course you have to get up early to 'bag' a sunbed in the grounds - the beach is no problem, sunbeds available throughout the day, so you don't have to hurry!

I can only say that, should I return to Corfu, I don't think I could find a better hotel in this location

As soon as we arrived we met the owner who just couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is fresh and extremely clean. The food is lovely. The staff are great and greet you personally every single day. We are already saving for our next visit. It won't be long. This place is right on the beach and we can't wait to get back there. Thank you all for a lovely holiday.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Margarita Hotel. It's a very nice, clean and familiar hotel and all the staff (owner family, breakfast and taverna staff, cleaning ladies,...) were extremely nice and tried to help us as much as possible. They all speak English and German very well. The rooms won't win a prize for interior design (only minus point: only cold neon lights in the room!), but we spent most of our time at the lovely hotel pool or at the beach anyway. I would always visit Margarita Hotel again.

If you are looking for a clean place to stay, in a 2-3 (Greek) star, no frills, hotel, which is located next to one of the best resort areas in Corfu, and you aren't too choosy when it comes to breakfast, then this could be the hotel for you.

Our room was located on the 1st floor with a view directly onto the seafront. The room was rather small and annoyingly only had two single beds which, when placed together, still had a large gap in the middle. The bathroom was large enough and the only real downfall was the hand held shower (this could be easily resolved by the hotel at minimum cost).

The furniture has seen better days e.g. we had a drawer in the table which couldn't be closed and homemade shelving had been provided for extra storage space. A very small TV is provided with 9 channels (Greek, German & one or two English)

When we arrived we had to ask for a fridge and hairdryer as these were not initially provided. Neither is shower gel etc which you would expect from a 3 star hotel (as listed in the TUI catalogue).

The breakfast is one of the major negatives as the choice is very limited (i.e. 2 types of bread, one type of cheese and (mainly) cooked ham. An egg choice (mainly hard boiled) was provided every 2-3 days. A small selection of jams, cereals and water melon was also available.

The hotel Tavern is located directly on the beach and provides good food etc. Sadly it isn't open at night so we always ended up at other taverns on the beach front for evening meals etc. The hotel has a bar but this is let down by lack of ambiance.

Staff are friendly enough, particularly at breakfast, and the hotel is very clean with towels etc being regularly exchanged. The hotel provided a room to shower and change on the day of departure which was a great service. One area of concern was the bath mat which wasn't changed for more that one week and was replaced, half way through the 2nd week, by a folded up towel (maybe they don't have enough bath mats to go around).

The hotel provides internet although this only appears to be available in the lobby/bar area.

The German Hotel Association (DEHOGA) would class this hotel as one star (not three as given in the TUI Catalogue)

All in all the hotel provided everything which is listed on its website and the positives far outweigh the negatives which was why I gave the hotel a four star rating. The hotel has lots of regular guests which obviously says a lot.
