The Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa offers a contrasting tapestry of experiences, with many guests praising its cleanliness and extensive amenities, including the allure of multiple pools, restaurants, and a private beach. While the hotel's location earns appreciation for its proximity to local attractions, the surroundings are described as somewhat remote. Room experiences vary, with modern and clean spaces alongside others that need updating. Service is consistently commended for its professionalism, yet the value proposition is debated, as some find extra charges and food quality less than satisfactory.

We are sat awaiting our transfer to the airport from the fantastic Lindos Imperial Hotel.
Moved here at the last minute because our original hotel (Lindos Royal) was closed for the season and unaware what to expect due to COVID I can genuinely say that we have had the most fantastic of times and a well needed break from the current situation going on in the world.
We were instantly made to feel at ease at this hotel and felt welcome from the moment we checked in to the moment we are now ready to leave, all of the staff are so polite and friendly and genuinely seem to care about doing a good job and ensuring you have a good time.
The food is wonderful and even though it is served to you due to social distancing measures you can still go and pick what you want and how much you want (to be honest this is preferable for us as you know only the chefs have touched your food!)
The a la carte restaurants are a must visit all though we would advise booking them up through the app you are advised to download as soon as you can as reservations can be hard to get, we tried three of them (Al fresco, Tapas and Asian) and would have tried more if we'd have had more time!
The rooms are lovely and spacious enough, we had a deluxe double room with garden view and it was very well facilitated and cleaned frequently enough for what we needed.
All staff from the reception to the restaurants, the bars and the shop on site do a wonderful job and really make you feel comfortable especially given the limitations they have with COVID.
Overall a very memorable holiday, would definitely come back again, special mentions needed for Alexandros (Alex) in the bar who always had a new drink ready for us and knew our order before we had even sat down, really made us feel appreciated.
Some other special mentions needed for Daniel, Stavros and Taulant who were very polite and friendly during our holiday.
Efcharistó!

We went here after having lots of other destinations cancelled this year. We were really happy with our room (superior double with private pool) and it was kept very clean by the maids. The air con wasn't the best however we weren't inside the room much during the day.

The hotel is set on a hill so be prepared to do some walking if you are in one of the rooms at the top. The walk was nice though.

The relax pool and the bar staff there were great. In particular Gerasimos who looked out for us every day and made us feel welcome. He made the best Mojito's on the resort!

We only used the buffet restaurant once as we prefer the A La Carte setting. The buffet however had plenty to choose from and the staff there were very attentive. The booking of these restaurants was very easy as we did it via the app you can download. We managed to do all of the restaurants and some of them twice. I would recommend booking them all on your first day to avoid disappointment.

The food at the A La Carte Restaurants was very nice in particular the Asian restaurant. The only downside at these restaurants was that there only seemed to be a couple of servers so wait times were quite long. On one occasion it took nearly 30 mins to get the starters. However this didn't bother us too much as the food made up for it.

My biggest frustration was with the sunbeds. Lots of other guests felt it necessary to 'reserve' beds with a towel. We would get to the relax pool at 9:30 and all beds would already have a towel on them despite there being hardly any guests there. It seemed those who had rooms closest to the pools were at an advantage here. The hotel had signs saying this was not allowed and that the towels would be removed, however we did not
witness this happen.

Overall we had a great 9 nights here and would thoroughly recommend fo others.

This hotel was a last minute deal due to a previous cancelled holiday due to covid.
Firstly upon the late night arrival we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff who informed us there were sandwiches in our room fridge as a snack.
The food at the hotel is amazing, from the main buffet to the specialist restaurants there was a wide range of choice and even though we were here 2 weeks the food was very rarely the same!!a special mention for the italian and greek restaurants which were both fantastic although a word of warning you need to be fast booking these through the app as they book up really fast!!
As a family we stayed in a garden view room which was a good size and clean although we had an issue with ants one night this was sorted by the staff within the hour.
The activity pool with the slides is fantastic and kept our kids entertained all day,all of the other pools are also great and are more quiet and relaxed.
Special mention to Alexandros at the main lobby bar,he is a credit to the hotel and after the first order of the holiday we did not need to ask again and there was always a drink on its way to our table without even asking, often 2 as he said i drank very fast!!!....i was on holiday after all!!
This resort is very much out of the way being 30 minutes from Lindos and an hour and a half + to Rhodes but it was just what we needed,a relaxing holiday in a fantastic resort with great staff and fantastic food.
Thankyou...We will be back for sure.

We've booked a suite with private pool over their website and was super excited to see the room etc.
First 'suite' we checked into was one of the old, not refurbished rooms - we were in a complete shock to see how small, outdated and overall would not have expected that standard unless was a 2star property to be honest. Went to advise reception of our huge disappointment and we were moved to one of their new, refurbished suites that was more in line with the price paid and star rating they claim to have. So...if you go be mindful of the old rooms....The new room although was better, it was not fully finished as no phones in the room so you could not contact anyone, no TV in the second room.
Housekeeping standards a bit of a hit and miss: we had 8 conditioner bottles in the bathroom but but no shampoo, 4 of us in the room but only 2 cups for tea/coffees, we had to ask to have our toiletries and tea/coffee replenished as not properly done. Each time we had to go out, find housekeeping and advise the person as no phone in the room.
Food standards: again well below other 4-5 star resorts we've been to. Only went to the buffet and their Asian restaurant as they said they were fully booked each time we tried to go somewhere else. At the Asian restaurant all food was luke warm, poor quality and overall cheap standards. No option for you to pay extra if you wanted to eat something better etc so we felt stuck.
Was much better for us to have booked rooms in a hotel that was not inclusive and eat lovely food of our choice, rather than pay lots of money and feel unhappy (our rate was 335 euros per night)
I would not recommend or return to that property, nothing special about that resort.
Forgot to mention their private beach: full of cigarettes buds, dirty, not looked after, we had a rental car and travelled to other nearby lovely beaches as theirs looked nothing like the photos advertised on their website.

We wanted a relaxing holiday and chose this at the last minute after our original destination of Crete was cancelled.

The room we were given was a ground floor garden view which comprised of two rooms in effect separated by a sliding door plus a bathroom and a patio.

The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds comfortable. I was a bit worried that the shower was over the bath and not a walk in one as I am quite unsteady on my feet. This posed no problem and the water pressure of the shower was brilliant.

My only niggle with the room was that the walkway outside the door is quite dark and loved by mosquitoes.  I know that it's  Greece and mosquitoes are to be expected but it seems a shame that there is a mosquito screen on the patio but the mosquitoes get into the room when the cleaner comes and leaves the door to the corridor open. Just make sure that you have repellent as I am not sure that there is a solution.

The pool areas are clean and well kept. We were closer to the Activity Pool and found it to be far less busy than any of the other ones.

Reception provide a messaging service whereby you contact them via WhatsApp; we found this to be extremely useful for booking taxis etc as they answered promptly and it saved waiting in a queue.

The food in the main Belvedere restaurant was fine with plenty of choice and lovely friendly staff. Temperatures are taken on entrance to the restaurant for all meals and you are prompted to sanitise your hands. The staff all wear masks. There are signs everywhere stating that all guests are required to wear masks in public places, this is not however enforced. I think that mask wearing in the restaurant should be made mandatory as when you are queuing for food social distance is not maintained by the majority of guests.

There are plenty of sanitisers in the public areas but the one near the lift in the main lobby was frequently empty.

Food in the a la carte restaurants is excellent. Service was particularly good in Ammos which is the seafood restaurant where the staff were amazing and in Meze Meze the Greek restaurant. You book for the a la carte restaurants via he hotel app and it is important to do this as soon as possible after arrival as they book up really quickly.

There isn't a lot around the hotel but it is fairly easy to get to Lindos.

Dear Serafinann, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing your detailed review. We are pleased to read that you especially enjoyed our facilities as well as the food experiences in our restaurants. We will discuss your comments with our management and please rest assured that we constantly work on improving our guests’ satisfaction. Kindly note that the use of face masks inside the common areas of the hotel is not obligatory but rather optional. According to the Greek COVID-19 hygiene protocols we should suggest to our guests to wear a mask while being indoors but we cannot enforce this rule. Under these conditions there are guests who do indeed wear their masks and guests who choose not to. We would highlight the fact that all staff members are obliged to wear a mask and we do follow this rule strictly. We hope that you will allow us another chance to fully impress you on your next trip to Rhodes.

I have just returned from here. Visited with my family, 8 adults and my toddler.

We had originally booked into a hotel in Lindos, a place we regularly stay, but we was changed to another hotel, then another, resulting in us being booked into the Lindos Imperial.

I cannot fault the hotel. They really are handling Covid and the restrictions well. Everyone is masked up, there is plenty of sanitiser available around the hotel and temperatures are taken at the restaurant doors. They also practice social distancing with spaced out tables and staff serve you food. I felt safer here than I did in the UK.

The rooms were immaculately clean. I usually really struggle with sleep and being comfortable in bed but the the beds were really comfortable. We had a fancy coffee machine in the room, as well as a fridge and free safe.

The food is nice, me and my family aren't fussy eaters, but I can imagine if you are a fussy eater, you would struggle with the food at this hotel. I really struggled to find food that my son would eat, which isn't normally the case. Breakfast and lunch wasn't a proble, but dinner was.

The pool with the slides offered lunch such as chicken nuggets, Greek sausage and chips, as well as gyros, souvalaki, stir fry noodles with sea food or veg. This seemed to be more aimed at the kids. The beach bar was our favourite for lunch, it offered gyros, chicken, pittas, souvalaki, Greek salads and fruits.

The hotel beach is very pebbly, but the sea is lovely. If you head out of the hotel and walk 10mins down the road there is a gorgeous beach they call Golden Beach. Its €10 a bed, but comes with a safe. Alternatively you can head into Lindos and go to the beach. I would definitely recommend going into Lindos village and trying out some of the restaurants and bars. There is a bus outside the hotel and it takes 20mins. Would recommend Dimitris (try the Kleftico) at the bottom of the hill and Georgios for a drink.

If I'm honest the hotel wasn't what we wanted, we specifically go to the hotel we originally booked in Lindos village, for the location, so the hotel isn't something we would usually book if we was going to this part of Greece. But like I said I can't fault the hotel. Staff are lovely and so so accommodating.

If you want to go to a hotel and do nothing but chill then this is the place for you.

Dear laurafC7421VM, Thank you for your recent stay at the Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa and your review on TripAdvisor. We are delighted that you enjoyed your overall stay with us together with your family and especially were happy with the comfortable beds, the measures taken due to the Covid-19 and the great service provided through our team members. Moreover, we would like to note that although the hotel does not have a designated area as kids buffet, we offer daily on our buffet the following dishes for our little guests: pasta (show cooking-3 different pastas daily), pizza (fresh made show cooking-2 different pizzas daily), pommes frites, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, hamburger twice per week during lunch, hot dogs twice per week during lunch and a pie daily. Apart from these dishes, we offer daily on our Activity Pool as well as the Beach Snack Bar: hamburgers, souvlaki, hot dogs & noodles. Your feedback is most appreciated and please rest assured that we are fully committed to constantly work on improving our guests’ satisfaction. Visited this hotel for a week, on a all inclusive basis with friends.

All the staff from reception , restaurant and bar were always friendly and attentive and provided fast service considering that the hotel was at full capacity and the additional corona virus restrictions they had to adhere to. Great selection of food across the hotel ( hotel buffet, noodles at the roof top pool) and definitely recommend booking to eat in the a la carte restaurants using app ( recommend doing this as soon as you check in as reservations get full quick). We tried the Italian restaurant and Chinese restaurant, both of which we really enjoyed with a great selection of food on offer. There was a few occasions were we struggled to get a table at the buffet restaurant particularly on a night time but because of air strikes hotel was at full capacity so this was no surprise nor was it a issue as staff are very efficient and helped find us a table.

Hotel management were accommodating, Marios and Yiannis gave us recommendations on where to eat and explained where places were. They couldn’t of been anymore helpful.

The guys at the relax pool bar were also very welcoming and great fun even when busy. Would also recommend trying the extensive list of cocktails , not watered down like they have been in other hotels we have visited.

There’s a great choice of pools, we never reserved sun loungers and always found some available, the loungers by the main pool seem to the most popular and didn’t manage to get any around that pool during the week but didn’t bother us and plenty of room elsewhere. The hotel beach also is another option , with water sports offered at a additional price.

We stayed in a family suite above the lobby, room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, a shower and bath, a mini fridge, coffee and tea and a safe to use free of charge. The balcony was also a great size and beds were very comfortable. There was also a tv available to use in room and free WiFi across all the hotel was a extra bonus.

Definitely one of the best hotels and holidays we have been on, only wish we booked to stay longer. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning next year.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks from 03/10/20. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lindos Imperial. A big thank you to all the the staff that worked hard to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable at what are difficult and challenging times. One member of staff, Camelia, who worked in the Breeze pool side bar and then later in the restaurant deserves a special mention for all her hard work and making us feel most welcome. We stayed all inclusive and have no complaints on the standard of food or drinks. What I would say is that there were no drinks in the fridge in the room, not even water. A 33cl bottle of water cost extra at the bar, also the tea, coffee and milk for the room was not replenished that often. All the facilities were clean and in good order. The many pools cater for all ages. We would recommend taking your own mosquito repellent containig "yeat" as the ones sold out there don't work. One other recommendation for the hotel is that they lay on a hot shower room for guests who have a late departure as they tell you to use the cold showers around the pool where there is no privacy, we had to be out the room by 11am and our pick up time wasn't until 19:40pm, this is the first all inclusive hotel we have stayed at that haven't offered that facility. When we asked at reception we were told that there was a 50 euro charge for a late check out. So a little room for improvement there. All in all we had a lovely relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from a family holiday from here. The hotel is lively, generally very clean in areas that we went in. The food, plenty of choice, sometimes due to queing up hot food could go cold waiting for veg to be put on your plate. This is not a moan but just pointing it out. Covid means staff put food on your plate.
Alex in the main bar was fantastic and had learnt our drinks off by heart, he needs a medal as sometimes it got very busy esp when entertainment was on.
Pool areas always washed down every morning.
Cleaner always cleaning on route from pool to dining room.
Air conditioning in the rooms are fantastic.
Safeboxes are free to use in your room.
Few little gripes:
Replenishment of room tea, coffee and milk is none existant even when reception was told.
Sunbeds due to covid their are fewer sunbeds around and brolleys meaning people were putting towels out the night before. There was plenty of grass space to put more sunbeds and those with ground floor garden views could have had sunbeds reducing numbers around the pools. If you are thinking of putting your towels out early stay with them otherwise the pool guy will remove them.
App for booking other restaurants. This is difficult if you havent got a phone that you can get apps on or any phone at all as receptuon will not do bookings for you. Good luck in getting any availability as it gets booked up early.
Dont ask for a map at reception they tell you to go on the app.
Good availability of pool towels and you can change them every other day.
Very spread out and if you have mobility problems this could be difficult but always a golf buggy to get you around.
Beach is mainly shale and pebbles and is very difficult to get out of- sometimes dignity goes out the window.
Would i revisit - YES i would
despite little niggles.

My girlfriend and I have just returned home from a great 5 days at the lindos imperial resort and Spa. First of all I wish to thank Secret Escapes as they never fail to impress with the quality of places I have visited via them.
Upon arrival at the hotel the receptionist who was very friendly advised that the restaurant would be staying open longer than the 2.30pm closing time to accommodate the new arrivals. This was much needed. A

After a nice lunch the hotel uses a golf buggy service to take you to your rooms. There was quite a queue developing for only 1 buggy, maybe there is need for a couple more of them. However we seemed to be fast tracked ahead of the queue and brought to our area just away from the main complex where our room was.

Again thanks to Secret Escapes we were very surprised by what room we had, it was a suite with a private terrace area with jacuzzi and a swim up sharing pool as you can see in the photos. The room was lovely, it had a big comfy bed and a choice of soft or harder pillows. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk in shower. It was spotlessly clean. The terrace area faced south so you had the sun all day and when it was too hot you could roll off it into the pool.

The suites area had 2 pools, one which was where our room was which also had plenty of loungers and an infinity one near to breeze bar/restaurant. It was a pity the restaurant was not open to try it.

The main complex area has the main pool and the activity pool. The activity one has the water slides which were good for kids and decent enough for adults too. It has a bar and a place serving buffet style food like chicken nuggets, pizza, skewers, and also seafood noodles.

There is another pool area called the relax pool which is closer to the beach again with a bar area and further to the beach is an all day food place serving similar food to the activity pool

The restaurants were the main one and the a la carte. The main one served local dishes plus normal food you would expect including a pasta corner. So the variety was good and the quality was not lacking.

The a la carte restaurants have to he booked on the hotel app. We managed to try the Mexican, seafood and wok. The seafood one was by far the best. I did not understand the Mexican food with chocolate sauce on meat. But its a personal taste thing.

The drinks were all local brand with the option to purchase branded ones, which seemed a little pricey. However the local ones were decent enough. The only moan about the drinks is the red wine being chilled to same temperature as the white as they come out of a machine.

All in all a really great time had and I would recommend staying here if you could end up in a similar room to what we had as that area seemed to be built more recent than the others looking at the maps around the hotel.

Dear Maria S., A room might have a coffee machine instead of a kettle, depending on the room type booked. However, you are more than welcome to ask for a kettle at our reception desk in case your room does not have one, and my colleagues will assist you promptly. Best regards, Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa
