What a fabulous hotel, we stayed here for 10 days and from minute 1 it was exceptional. When we arrived we got greeted at reception by Nikos who offered us a drink before we even checked in, who then informed that our room would not be ready so they put us in a massive suite til our room was ready, with a bottle of wine, they even helped us with all our cases. Every member of staff were so helpful and attentive, we felt like royalty. The head waiter Kostas surprised on our anniversary with wine, flowers and a cake, the head waitress, Pionisis was always welcoming and smiled all the time. In the bar Basilas and Vaggelis were so good at their job never much of queue as they were so quick at serving always with a smile and a joke. The other receptionist Reggina was so helpful every time we asked for anything and sorted any excursions out with the utmost professionalism. The room was cleaned everyday with the loveliest of staff. The shuttle bus drivers Stelios and Gionnis were absolute legends, if the bus was full they would organize another one for the overflow. They had different entertainment every night which would help the great cocktails to go down even better. All in all if we could go back tommow it would not be soon enough. Thank you to all involved in making our holiday perfect.

I’d just like to start by saying as you can see from all my other reviews I am usually very positive. However this is nowhere near a 5* hotel, 3* max Pros: - The reception staff (especially the saint of a woman in charge) - that same woman kindly let us move rooms to a marginally better one - the lovely waiter costas -the food was ok most nights, just not 5* worthy… Cons: - The AWFUL hotel manager, when we complained there was no water for two evenings (therefore no showers or teeth brushing after travelling and being in 30+ degrees heat) we were told by him “there are real problems in the world like Paris riots”. He also said passive- aggressive comments to me and rolled his eyes the next day when I came to the lobby to ask for the bus schedule… - The wait for the bus (car which fits 8 at a time) - The fact that TWO different people walked in on me undressed when I was having a massage because there were no signs to say treatment in progress - The queue for the bar - The measly snack options - The disgusting murky pool with a line of green dirt along the edges - The stained furniture in the room.. - The broken glass on the restaurant floor All in all a waste of money, stranded in the mountains.

Rather disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely but the food really was not very good. We stayed for 2 weeks and found the food very repetitive and during the last week the quality deteriorated, maybe because it was the end of the season and they had run out of fresh supplies. Food also warm at best and often cold. The same cakes for dessert every day for lunch and dinner. Hotel is quite isolated with few local walks. Will not be returning.

Sorry if you find this quite long but I’m trying to give a good overview for those travelling here next year. So I’d like to start with the location. It is beautiful , a slog from Chania airport 2.5 hrs, so would advise Heraklion if possible. High up in the mountains, about a mile or so from Bali town. Fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Arrived to find reception organised, we got a courtesy bus to our room, not because it was far but it was hilly. Was allocated a double room but was with my daughter so asked to change to a twin which they accommodated the next day, in fact we got an upgrade to a suite with pool views. Rooms are spotless and well serviced. Regina on reception is great and cannot do enough for you. The hotel, grounds, pools are spotless, it is very quiet with only a hint of background music from the pool bar. The hotel had a good mix of nationalities, whilst watching the magician one night, we found there were English, Irish, Italian, Spanish & Germans in the audience. That brings me onto the entertainment, we went to watch it every night at 9pm, the magician was the best one there, it wasn’t the magic/comic more the audience participation. The remaining nights consisted mainly of traditional Greek music or entertainment, mainly duo’s so if you’re used to more theatrical shows etc then this won’t be for you. The main let down for me with the hotel was the food, We managed to eat every morning and almost every evening, we found after a good breakfast we didn’t require lunch and grabbed fruit from the pool bar. The size of the food islands aren’t very big hence there is limited choice, there was a salad bar then cold meats and cheeses and a grill area. There was always chicken of some description, sometimes with a pork dish and on two occasions there was fish, pasta & rice are plentiful . We found the food quite bland, nothing with any kick and it was quite repetitive. The food also wasn’t overly warm. The courtesy bus into Bali was a god send, it was good to get out for an hour during the day, we ate in Bali one day to break up the usual routine and it was cheap. To summarise, a lovely quiet hotel, great staff, beautiful but quite remote location, clean and hygienic but could be even better if food was improved. Overall a 4 ⭐️ hotel at best. We used Bali Travel for a trip to Elifonisi Beach and Chania Town, would recommend them again.

Splendid scenic view from the rooms and restaurant, the villas are very good and well equipped. A bit dark inside, but the big pool is very good even in October. What I would say as negative, is the maintenance repairing is very bad, they should invest more in maintenance, and the food variety is bad, it is almost the same as each days, and the taste of them is not good, some is unsalted, some is over salted. However the price is extremely good, worth for going.

Realy nice staff. The view form the rooms is amazing and only a 10 minute trip int town from the bus which is directly outside the hotel. Food was nice also, could do with more variety. Also more options at the bar would be nice for drinks

What an absolutely wonderful honeymoon. From arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and easy. Transport between excursions and Bali town were seamless. The room was clean and bright, the facilities excellent and we would without doubt, return here. Thank you so much for an unforgettable honeymoon ♥️
