I was there with my whole family (eight of us) and I must say it was the highlight of our vacation. Monique the proprietor was a remarkable woman. Her attention to our needs during our stay were unmatched. The breakfasts were outstanding and all the rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. We will be traveling back to France within the...

Mme Philipponnat-David inherited this maison de maitre and used local craftsmen to convert it into a stylish and comfortable chambre d'hote. There are some delightfully restrained touches in the decor which we warmed to. Our room was effectively a suite with very comfortable twin beds in a room overlooking the countryside and a bathroom with a high tech bath and...

Off the beaten track, Les Brunes is a beautiful, restored gem. Ultra quiet, modern and comfortable and well located for places to visit in Aveyron. Hostess Monique is warm and welcoming and she prepares a wonderful breakfast for guests around the large table in her kitchen.

Found this place with the help of TA. What a wonderful find. Monique made us very welcome on our arrival with homemade wine and nibbles. The rooms were wonderful with extremely high quality fittings. Breakfasts were somewhat early(8.30) but if you wants to make the most of the morning it's also very useful. The selection for breakfast was amazing, homemade...

Monique's hospitality was wonderful. She greeted us warmly with the offer of an 'aperitif' or coffee and sat chatting while we drank and ate her delicious cheeses. The property was not only filled with character, charm and history but it was extremely comfortable with spacious rooms and a shared kitchenette for guests. This was a real plus if you wanted...

We recently traveled from the U.S.A. to Bozouls, France, to attend our son's wedding. In the process we discovered the most beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable place in the world. This moni-castle was absolutley amazing in every way, as was our hostess, Monique. She explained that she and her husband renovated the castle, installing everything from video surveillance, to motion-operated lights...

This property is beautifully restored, properly kitted out and immaculately kept. When you add in the warmth of the hostess and the excellent home-made breakfast that greeted us in the morning, there is no question that this place is a real winner. My family travels very often, and it is not often that we all concur on a specific place....

Monique welcomed us warmly in a her beautifully restored and comfortable family home. Les Brunes turned out to be in a very convenient location both for visiting the many lovely villages in the surrounding area and also to Rodez airport, which had not been obvious just looking at the map. Bozouls itself is well worth a visit and Monique's recommendation...

“Remember that in France, the first floor is one flight up, and the second floor is actually two flights up. You mat want to take this into consideration if you bring along lots of heavy bagage.”
