I had a great double bed room with a window overlooking the gorge. It was simply furnished and immaculate. I slept very well! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was a nice size and had a regular shower, although it was a bit small. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hair dryers are...

It was very hot when we were there and the hotel has no A/C. Our room was top floor under the eaves & we sweltered. They eventually found us an old electric fan which didn't work. The bathroom was fine, except the shower was over the bath. Bedroom was small and decoration tired - I imagine due to be refurbished....

The bathroom was fine, except the shower was over the bath. Bedroom was small and decoration tired - I imagine due to be refurbished. Dinner was OK - certainly the cooking was innovative, but everything had to be according to their rules, not the customer's! Breakfast was simply dire. Hard burnt toast and cake - NO fresh bread, NO croissants - with homemade jam, yes, but so liquid it wouldn't stay on the toast! Weird orange juice - freshly squeezed but pulp and all and machine-whipped into some sort of foam. We might eat at the restaurant again but would never again stay in the hotel.”
