We agree with Haliso that the Gaia Royal has the superior site near the beach and its accommodation is more spread out over a larger area. In fact, it has everything that the Gaia Palace has except the spa and the Palace spa can be used by guests of the Gaia Royal so there is no advantage in staying at...

What does it take to get a hotel a 5star rating? A spa? There is nothing else to distinguish the Gaia Palace Hotel from the neighbouring Gaia Royal Hotel which we stayed at for a few nights in October last year. In fact, the Royal has the preferable site nearer the beach, but no spa. However, the spa at the...

Arrived yesterday at the Gaia Palace Hotel. MAGNIFICENT. Staff attentive, food out of this world, brilliant with my elderly mother, clean and modern. However I don't understand how this hotel can be called all inclusive!! It more like full board with free local drinks. You pay for cocktail's, Cappuccino's, and other 'special' coffees, hot chocolate, bottle water, sun beds and...

Having just returned from a weeks stay, my partner and I were pleasantly surprised. We had booked this holiday as somewhere to stay whilst spending our week kitesurfing. We booked in June and it cost approx £130pp for the week all inclusive and were of the mindset that for that price you can't really go wrong using as a base....

I have just returned with my partner after a 2 week stay. The staff were really friendly, everywhere was kept spotless, food was good with plenty of choice and plenty of sun beds to go around. The bus stop was a short walk so very easy access to Kos Town. I can't wait to go back next year!
