Just spent four lovely days here with the adult family. Warm welcome, amazing rooms, food to die for! And although the village skiing is very limited....it's the most relaxed, quiet, crowd free resort we have ever come across. We're coming back....

The Pirpamer and Moser families have been hoteliers for several generations and it shows in every aspect of Hotel Post. The facilities, the dining and the courteous staff combine to make the Post an true gem of experience. The location for hiking is ideal as there are days and days of different treks for the most aggressive hikers. Although the...

Very nice hotel in Vent. Very nice staff, and the food and vine is also supreme. I strongly recomend this hotel. Vent is a quiet Village with nice mountain view and also nearby the place where Øtzi was found.

Nice hotel in the mountains. There was hardly any snow, but the hotel provided a good alternative with it's wellness-area. Very courteous owners and staff. Excellent dinner and very good service. Mattress where a little bit to hard for us.

The Hotel Post is a terrific place to stay if you'd like to explore the wild, scenic mountains at the end of the Ötz Valley. We stayed in a pair of large, comfortable rooms with recently remodeled bathrooms-- super nice and luxurious. The breakfast is excellent and the dinners (you should always choose the half-board option) were absolutely wonderful. We...

One of the best hotels in the Alps. Located in a quiet and very scenic part of the Ötz Valley, the hotel is managed by the Pirpamer family, with a rich and outstanding mountaineering tradition. The food is incredible with a Tyrol influence but it goes beyond that. Staff is helpful, genuinely interested in their guests. Attention is given to...

Spent a week at the Post with a small group of fellow hikers, and couldn't have been happier with it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with good TV and free WiFi. The public areas (lounge, bar, dining room) are decorated with all the Sud Tirol charm you could possibly ask for. There's a nice pool, and an...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Post in Vent from 03-10 MAR 2013. We snowboarded at Solden and Obergurgl/Hochgurgl. This is my second visit to the Otzal area in the past 10 years. As far as the mountains go, I recommend parking at the Hochgurgl lot and exploring Obergurgl/Hochgurgl from there. Solden is far more crowded than it...
