Love this hotel! We will plan to stay there on every trip to Atenas and Costa Rica. It was perfect for our large group (26 people)--we felt safe, welcome, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool was perfect for our group.

Cons: The curtains do not provide much privacy and I found the room to be hot. Pros: The room was clean. The employees were helpful and kind. The grounds and the pool were nice. Thanks for your revue. It was a plesure having you with us at Colinas del Sol. We have just fan in the room because we are on the CST program. Atenas normaly does not go over 28-30 C during the day and get cooler at night. This year it is warmer and we will think for the future if it...

This could be a nice hotel with a few changes. There is no privacy for couples as the curtains are not sufficiently opaque or wide enough; Jalousie windows are in poor repair and could not be closed; there is no A/C. Male staff constantly passing cabin to gawk at and flirt with my girlfriend. Rickety noisy king bed frame with...

There was no question that two rooms had been reserved and paid for, and no explanation as to why they had only one room available. The manager/owner was called and she came...

The grounds and pool of this place are very beautiful and tranquil, the oropendolas were enchanting. Restaurant is OK however there are many nice food options in town which serve more delicious food at a better price. We were coming from nice hotels in Manuel Antonio and La Fortuna so it was quite an adjustment staying here at the end...
