I stayed at the Samui Lagoon Bay from September till October 2016. This was my third stay here, and my fourth visit to Samui. I travelled alone, basically for muay thai-training, swimming in the ocean and eathing thai food. I like Lagoon Bay first of all because it is at the door step of the ocean, and with a nice...

Pros : Quiet area of the beach if that's what you're looking for. Wifi worked well. Cons: Mattresses are AWFUL! Basically like sleeping on the floor. They don't give you free water unlike most other hotels. The rooms are terribly run down as well as the bathrooms. A/C worked well but is very noisy. Had to pay cash, didn't honour...

Just had a fabulous 6 night stay here. We went to koh samui to celebrate my sons wedding and just wanted a cheap and cheerful hotel on the beach. This place was fabulous and we could not fault it. We had a sea view bungalow which was kept lovely and clean, had great air conditioning and was a good size....

Our bungalow was spacious and had a nice terrace to the garden. Room was spotless and AC worked like a charm. Breakfast was ok (you can pick every morning from four options but for example all the choices containing eggs or bacon were premade and they just reheated them on the microwave (!). Cleaningladies and handiman were really nice and...

Staff was divided in two - Gardeners and room service cleaning the rooms were really nice, but staff in restaurant was mostly in asleep. Did not see anybody eating in...

Samui lagoon bay has good location. beach in this area is very nice and clean. crystal clear water a more qiuet and nicer than in the middle of chaweng. Bungalows are simple, florr little swing :). Big problém is smell from, bathroom, sink from shoer goes directly to some septic and there is some chemical preparation, with strong technical smell....

It is located at South part of Chaweng, 20 mins walk to the central part which is the most crazy and noisy party place. Along the road outside the resort, you can get everything you want. We stayed in bungalow that very near to poolside and beach, just few step away. The beach is very nice, shallow and clean water,...

“There are garden rooms which are at the front of the property near the road which are the cheapest but for not much extra you can upgrade to a garden villa which is a standalone bungalow with its own deck. I would advise staying in these rooms as they are quieter and much bigger :)”

“Closer to the pool and beach, are more noisy (but who cares, you're not staying inside, you're going to the beach). A quiet bungalow is half way to the last bungalow, and away from the walking track.”
