Step through the ornate doors into a haven of tranquility in the heart of Chaweng beach. Twelve of our twenty-six rooms are traditional Thai teak houses from Ayudhaya, mounted on stills. This is the closest you will find to a country house hotel in Koh Samui. Fully equipped modern rooms and bathrooms set inside historic buildings. Our sixteen new contemporary Thai Style cottages are slightly larger than the traditional rooms with partly open-air bathroom.

I took my parents to Koh Samui last summer for a 2 week stay. We were supposed to stay in two hotels. The first one was great but the second one basically turned out to be a construction site. After having walked up and down the beach looking for a new hotel I decided to switch to Le Paradis. The place had recently been renovated having a very sleek and modern design. The place is made up by comfortable bungalows some of them with really cool semi-outdoor restrooms. The hotel also has a very good restaurant and a large pool situated by the beach, so you can have a drink in the water and watch the busy beach activities. The service is very good. Apart from the normal high service level in Thailand the staff really provided that little extra. I would also say that the price level is good. My parents had their 37y wedding anniversary and even though we didn’t make a big deal about it the general manager provided us with free champagne to celebrate the moment. I can highly recommend this hotel!

This place is simply fantastic. It has probably the best location in Chaweng beach, it is small and peaceful ,rooms are nice for holidaying (i stayen in the Thai contemporary villa nr 42) the beach (white and sandy) is 10 metres far from the room , the restaurant where you get breakfast is idyllic and all this it is 50 metres away from the burstling nightlife of chaweng with plenty (maybe too many ) of bars, restaurants shops etc etc .You can get what you want just in five minuttes but still in your secret garden. The hotel is nested in a smplendid tropical garen weel kept and perfectly integrated with the rest .Great spa (maybe too expensive) and superb service (their english is not the best anyhow but they try hard to make you feel happy ).
I stayed here one week and then I moved to Tongsai , regretting and missing le paradis very much. The sea is perfect for any children and you can walk for hours on the long white stripes of beach. A superb stay. Go there

We have chose to stay in Le Paradis Resort in Chaweng Beach for 4 nights in this early August as a family, and is highly recommended.
For its price range, they do have rather nice restaurants + swimmingpool by the beach+beach front villa with modern interior .
They also have a traditional Thai pavillion style cottage, but recommend the modern one with genourous living space.

It is located smack in the middle of the Chaweng street. It is very convenient to walk to anywhere you would want to go to in Chaweng; you will easily find an air conditioned taxi or a tuk tuk which is cheaper with ease if you need to. Mind you, the price of taxi is even more expensive here in Koh Samui than in Phuket, or Bangkok.
All convenient and nice restaurants are located in Chaweng, therefore recommended to stay where you can easily walk.
Not noisy at all when it is quite centrally located; rather found it great to take an advantage of a convenience stores and ATMs close by with no extra payment for a taxi.

We will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

I don't know. This place didn't quite meet expectations.
Maybe it was because they forgot to pick us up from
the airport (not a great start to our holiday), maybe
because we paid more than 3 times the price of any of
our other 3 hotels on the island (all of which were very nice) and didn't feel that the quality matched what we paid. The room was smaller than average and the bed was 2 singles pushed together. There were some lovely touches though - welcome drink on arrival, tea and cakes on your balcony every afternoon, flowers on the bed. The location was great and the beach first class. The restaurant was ok/average but I was put off by the very basic restroom. Again, if you're paying those sorts of prices...
Making the initial reservation direct with the hotel involved around 8 emails, repeated attempts to a constantly busy fax machine and eventually a call from the UK. Overall this place is nice and worth a look but given the problems we had, I'd wouldn't book there again.

This is a fairly small resort so it doesn't compete on features such as a gym or tennis court. This doesn't bother me at all as you have a wonderful beach at your door step. The same applies to the pool, ie in a small resort the pool is never busy but it is not large, probably 15M long, quite enough for us. If you want to swim a few hundred metres, which I do, jump in the ocean and go for it, then finish off with a dip in the pool. I also like some shade around a pool and the palms (not some 4storey hotel wing) provide this.

Being smaller you get to know the staff and we found them unfailingly attentive and helpful. My wife is Thai so we never have any language difficulties, she gathers people’s background and generally fits in, she seemed to like everyone. I think that we both can assess Thai food pretty well and we really liked every meal bar one. In my view it has a wonderful dining setting, by the beach, by the pool, outdoor tables but with shade and good staff. The way they set it up for night is also very good; I couldn't see the point of wondering along the road looking for somewhere else. They have 4 styles of bread which they make onsite, a different one each day this makes life interesting and the garlic butter you get with the bread is the most "garlicky" I have ever had - I loved it!

We really like our "contemporary" room, we found it welcoming with lovely garden and a patchy sea view, the bed and it's down filled pillows was great. Most times I would go for an ocean view at a resort but the grounds are so nice that I would equally recommend the garden rooms. The traditional rooms add to the wonderful setting being built around a large lotus containing pond but the Contemporary rooms are larger and more user friendly - I'd ask for contemporary. Someone a couple of posts back thought that the outdoor bathroom was "weird", well we prefer it, it's warm, spacious, no worries about smells, and completely private. If you live in the tropics it is the way to go.

As others have said the location is great, not because the beach is much better (after all it is a long straight beach), but it is fairly central and if you hire a car or bike it is easier to get back to Le Paradis than just about any other beachfront property. Hard to simply explain why but it relates to the beachside road being one way north of Le Paradis and there being an intersection adjacent to the Le Paradis property (this does not make it noisy).

Any negatives? The polished wooden floor in the room is slippery, don't fall over! It is quite expensive by my usual standards for Thailand. Value for money? I think you could do better but we really did love our stay so we would go back.

We have chosen to stay in Le Paradis Resort (ex-Princess Village) in Chaweng Beach for 4 days. We are having a wonderful holiday right next to a white sand beach with fantastic value for money and hospitality here in Le Paradis Resort.

It is smack in the middle of Chaweng Beach, so I don't need to take an expensive taxi to travel. Hotel staffs are always helpful, interior very good quality for its price. There is a swimming pool, right next to a nice and smooth white sand beach; food quality excellent with a romantic atmosphere.

Only thing I would make a comment about it is that the en suite bathroom is outside under no roof, which doesn't trouble me at all because the house keeping comes everyday and maintains it in mint condition. I will advise anyone planning to stay to book early, because it is kept secret to find such a quality hotel with with this reasonable price. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Our Les Paradis Hotel stay was the result of a spur of the moment booking that I won’t regret any time soon. The gardens are lush and gorgeous, especially the lotus pond. The architecture is a terrific blend of traditional Thai and modern. There are choices of modern or Thai style bungalows. The rooms are well equipped, the staff were extremely friendly, even the housekeeper. The restaurant was one of the better meals we had while in Kho Samui and the beach fine. I can’t understand why it’s not ranked higher on Trip Advisor’s list of hotel in Samui. I also felt it was good value for money as we had a good rate for our stay. Hidden off the main road just a bit, and really a good choice for Samui. I recommend it enthusiastically.

I have been to Samui more than 10 times and used to stay at the Centara (previously Central). As it was full I was surprised to find this great resort tucked away just 100 meters or so from Central.

The staff and Manager were fantastic, great food and the gardens were amazing. As a hotel GM myself I was amazed at the quality and value for money.

I fully reccomend this hotel for your next vacation.

We had booked another hotel and did not like,it we found this one, down a small road, once we entered the grounds ,it was like being in a different world,it was so relaxing, the garden is so nice it realy is special. The villa we stopped in was Thai style, they have modern as well, ours was from the outside a very old thai villa, but once inside, the inside was modern, but still with the feel of an old thai house. The resort is very laid back, the gardens are huge, you have the feeling of being in the jungle. We loved the pool,,as it is close to the sea,so the children could play in the sea safety. The food in the whole resort,is very good and not expensive, the display is very good. They have a pond area where you can relax in the evening and enjoy light music. The resort is really for people that want to relax and have something different. It is not suited for party people, but saying that the centre is 3 mins walk away. This resort is very special,if there was anything i did not like about it was the repair working going on,but this turned out to be the new gym and they only work fom about 10am to 3 pm
