We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days stay! The resort feels new and fresh. We had a standard downstairs room and it was lovely and spacious, with a HUGE bed and a great outdoor shower.

Breakfast was tasty with excellent service. It wasn’t a huge spread but eggs were tasty and well cooked

The staff were very friendly and very efficient all round the resort and we felt welcomed when we arrived.

Couple of suggestions for the management:

The pool felt a little soul less. There was no real interaction with staff unless you walked up to the bar. Would be great for people to walk round, help with parasols, offer cold towels etc.

The music at the pool seemed to be the same cover version CD on repeat, it would have been really nice to have some variety as it got VERY tedious

We missed having a bar to have a final drink at - the pool bar seemed to close earlier every day and there was no real atmosphere to drink there anyway

Location is great - 10/15 mins walk to Fisherman’s - and you MUST have corn on the cob from the beach bbq boat!

Overall we would recommend this hotel to people who like clean modern rooms and a convenient location.

That is a place we had something to do every day!
First off all, the hotel just got renovated this year, so everything is brand new and beautiful.
They have really big space, 2 swimming pools, one of them is standing right on the beautiful beach with the palm trees.
We are travelling with a 4 years old child, and that was a perfect hotel for him - they have children playground, swimming pool and even children activities (our son was involved in doll painting, and it was fun!).

Every day we had some activities to do - I went for yoga in the morning, my husband had Thai boxing classes. That’s all was free of charge!

You can also book for additional price a Thai cooking class, very enjoyable and fun - we cooked tom yam, pad thai and banana in coconut milk. Such an experience!
The restaurant they have served amazing variety for breakfast and you can also have all inclusive food for the whole day like we did, and the the food is very tasty! There are Thai and western options, so if you are a bit tired of Thai food, you can have a burger or pasta )))

The hotel is very close to the Bophut night market and they have a free transfer where and to Chaweng beach as well!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a cool hotel I want to come back for sure.

I stayed here towards the end of February 2022 for 3 nights in a Villa Room which was oposite the swimming pool with a great view out to the sea.
The hotels Restaurant for breakfast was only a few steps away and was a nice start to the day. The buffet breakfast was always nice and you could order up eggs to be cooked from the kitchen. There was always lots of choice and everything was nice and fresh and was being topped up regularly.
The swimming pool outside my room was always inviting as the weather at the time was a little unsettled so it was great to swim. There is also anther pool which is further back and is very large but i never ventured around there.
The room i was staying in was a "Villa Room" which was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The bathroom had a bath tub & separate rain shower with 2 hand Basins.
The room had lots of space with a wardrobe, Safe, Umbrella's which came in handy for my stay, and a very large bed which being a solo traveller was wonderful.
The wifi worked well in the room and throughout the resort.
On the front of the room on the small patio was a clothes horse to put wet clothes to dry & a nice couch to sit or lay on to people watch or just relax.
I had the privilege of meeting Yuanpit Suknuan (Front House Manageress) who was professional and very passionate about her role.
She was very good with all of her guests and was always happy to make sure that everything was ok.
I have been in Hospitality Management for 30+ years so I'm always keen to see how other management interact with their guests.
The house keeper was always friendly and made the room look perfect every day.
So to sum up my stay at Samui Palm Beach Resort, Bophut, Koh Samui i would highly recomend a stay at this hotel when visiting Koh Samui.

Had a 3 week stay at the Celes Muse hotel and have to say the staff in the main have been excellent, special mentions to reception staff and shuttle bus drivers who have taken us to Chan Wang beach every afternoon at 3pm.
Catering staff and cleaning have all been top class.
Lovely room on first floor (with only issue no chair in room or on balcony so have not sat normally in room for three weeks.
Mini bar soft drinks refreshments re-filled every day when consumed.
3 swimming pools to use on site.
Prices for drinks & food in my opinion set at to high a price point compared to local bars & cafes so feel I didn’t use facilities as much as would have as decided to give tips to staff who tried everything to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Another issue I feel needs looking at is that even though to hotel occupies a beach front location no sun beds are provided on beach even though neighbouring hotels all do!
The first 2 weeks of our stay unfortunately the beach was filthy with all refuse and debris washed up from previous storms but no coordinated approach was made by either local authorities or hotels on beach fronts to clean up! Fortunately another storm washed the refuge & debris away & down to Chan Wang in the third week of our stay.
No activities carried outby hotel in the day which I found unusual for such a large establishment.
The hotel is positioned just outside Fisherman’s Village which was ideal for a walk at night times & market is on 4 times a week in village.
On the whole value for money but feel has potential to reach top level with a few minor adjustments.

Wonderful resort! We had been very happy to stay there for 7 nights. The Garden villa was nice and well equipped and it was very close to the pool and beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite the fact that there were only a few guests due to the Covid 19 restrictions we could use all facilities of the resort and everything was in perfect condition. We strongly recommend this resort.

We stayed in Celes Samui in March 2023. And all in all our holiday was very nice and relaxing. Although we got off to a rocky start. After arriving we were picked up by the hotels shuttle, it was nice not to worry about the transfer. Then we were driven to Celes Samui but we were surprised that we didn't go to the entrance shown on the website but another one just 40m further. This was the entrance to the older Celes Palm Beach Resort (I think this one is advertised as one of the first Resorts on Koh Samui).
Right after the first night in our hotel room (very clean, bright and spacious) we discovered bite marks on our feet. We did not know what caused those marks, and thoroughly inspected the bed and the room but found nothing. However the next night we got few more, after which we asked to change the room. The staff was helpful and we were able to change the room without any problem. Unfortunately we ended up in a top floor room in the building right next to the street. This street is very busy also (or especially) at night and it was almost impossible to sleep. So we ask to change room again and luckily could change to a room which was not much further away but already much more silent. After this our holiday preceded nicely.
The breakfast is excellent with a big selection of continental/European food and local specialties. The 3 Pools and beach are very clean and the personal is very friendly. Also the proximity to Fisherman's village (~ 1km/15min walking), the SevenEleven just between the two Celes entrances and the many restaurants on the street are a clear Plus.
Our main critic is about the advertisement of the hotel: it's important to note that Celes Samui consists of two different hotels which very much feel still separate although pools and restaurants are shared. There are 2 lobbies, 2 gyms, 2 libraries. Also the beach towels have different colors, so everyone knows to which site you belong. It is a small detail but kind of made us feel like the hotel is still separated internally to the more modern side and the other, bit more dated side. During our booking only pictures of the newer, more fancy Celes Samui were shown on the website. However, this area is much smaller and most of the guest will stay in the older, more dated area. It should be more clearly stated during booking where you stay! From the pictures and the previous reviews you get the feeling you will stay in a very calm and tranquilizing environment but if you then end up in the "tropical zone" it is everything else but calm in case you end up right next to the street.
The second comment is the amount of sun chairs in the 2 hotels. On two days we got up early to join the organized jogging trip (which is very nice btw) and to go on a boat tour, and almost all the sunbeds at the beach front pools were already reserved before 7 am! On the beach there are only few sunbeds (maybe around 30), which are only located in front of the older Hotel. The rest of the hotel's beachfront is empty.
All in all we would come back to Celes Samui but would either book a villa in the tropical zone or one of the rooms in the newer part of the hotel which seemed more peaceful.

I stayed for one week in this ressort.

The ressort is very nice and modern.
It is located around 1.5Km far away from fisherman’s village. The pool is very big and very clean.

The staff is very friendly and there are a lot of people cleaning everyday several times all access pathes, pool area and all public areas.

The room is big, maybe a stool is missing. You have one sofa inside and one outside with a small table.
The minibar is filled up everyday without charging with 4 non alcoholic drinks.
The cleanness is good.

For me the breakfast was very good. If you eat only continental breakfast then it will be the same everyday. But Asian food is great.

Prices for drinks at the pool are high, but you pay for all these working people who make the Ressort pretty. So it’s clear that the prices are higher.

I didn’t have diner in the hotel but I heard about very high prices for wine and other drinks.

We stayed here as a couple and found the hotel lovely a clean.
The breakfast was full of options no matter your nationality and enjoyed it every day
The gym was amazing everything you need free weights and Aircon was really cool so always a bonus if your running.
We didn’t eat otherwise at the hotel as we thought it was really expensive so went to local restaurants for lunch and walked into Bophut fisherman’s village at night where there was plenty of choice and only takes 10 mins to walk. We took the free shuttle bus into Chewang one night provided by the hotel this was great.
The reason I gave it a 4 was it was a massive struggle to get sun beds and even at 6.30 there was very few left as all had been reserved with towels, we have stayed at Thailand a lot and don’t see why bean bags can’t be put on the beach as other hotels on the stretch have.
And also I never saw any hand soap anywhere in the hotel not in your room or in the communal bathrooms anywhere not even sanitiser not very hygienic.

STUNNING! This hotel from the moment you arrive has the wow factor. We stayed in a pool villa and was amazed at the size of it. The pool was impeccably clean and a great size the only downside was there is no sunbeds in the villa rooms.
The bedroom was huge with a complimentary bar. The bed is the biggest and most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.
Wi-Fi was perfect.
The bathroom is also massive with a freestanding bath and also a separate shower.
Everything is catered for.

The one thing that angered me was when we first arrived we sat by the communal pool and went to the bar to look at the drinks as we wanted one. I looked at the menu and went onto to order the bar server took my menu and replaced it with an identical one with higher prices. We chose to take our custom elsewhere and not get a drink from there.

The hotel was a great deal at a great price. The rooms were spacious and clean. There were 2 large pools and beach access. The hotel is close to fisherman’s village so you can easily walk to restaurants, night markets and bars but you are far enough away where you can get some peace and quiet. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent and they often have theme nights serving different types of Thai food. I highly recommend this hotel.
