Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Go for the delicious Thai starters...the Shrimp Rolls and Vegetable Tempura was cooked to perfection. A really warm welcome by staff who were very friendly and attentive. A lovely spot for lunch with a sublime view of Bophut beach!!

We have eaten here the past two times we have been to Ko Samui and this visit was no different. The pizzas are awesome and the burgers are pretty yummy too. Be careful when you go for pizza though as the oven gets turned off after lunch until evening BUT there is plenty of other options on the menu and after all we wouldn’t have found out how good the burgers were if they didn’t 😃 Would recommend this place highly and the location is FABULOUS. Thanks for your hospitality and your food all of you

I stayed in October 2019 and I regularly visited there for 2 weeks in January 2020. The individual bungallows are nice and clean. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant has nice healthy food and I would eat there every day. Also nice selection of wines if you are wine drinker. Sun chairs and umbrellas and bean bags are available on the beach. It is also a nice swimming spot. The owner is a great guy who remembers his guests, greats them personally, and helps any way he can. He is very responsive to email as well and quite rapidly. While I did not have a room there in January 2020 due to some internet mix up on my end, the owner still welcomed me to use the sun chairs and I ate at the restaurant every day. I plan to go back again this year. I have stayed in many other places over the many years I visited Thailand and Samui but this is the place that truly resonates with me for comfort and the staff (can't emphasize how much I love the staff there). Also if you need laundry it is 3 min walk and per kilo, the convenience store is just 5 min away. You can also easily walk to Fisherman's Village on the beach -- there every Friday you find a night market. Thank you again to Cactus Bungalow for making my stays in Samui great and memorable.

Best curry we’ve had here so far , generous cocktails. Finally, our vegetarian aspirations meet an understanding attitude. The carnivore was very happy too, with his shrimps and squid green curry. One of this places you just know you’ll miss when vacation is over.

These bungalows are set in amongst gardens and trees which really makes them special. The rooms are fairly basic but confortable and everying worked as it should for me and my friend. The resturant which is right on the beach is beautiful and the food is good. Serves a mix of Thai and western food. The pizzas are excellent. Although some of the prices are a little high, but cheaper than resturants in other resorts. There is also a massage hut on site which is really nice. The service here is really good. The hostess is really lovely and will you organise everything. Also thry speek good english.

We decided to eat here as a change from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s Village. The restaurant is located on the beach a has an inviting and relaxing vibe, with welcoming staff. The food was excellent and well priced and this was the only place we ate in twice while we were on Ko Samui - highly recommended.

Stayed at Cactus Bungalows for 1 month. An absolute ‘gem’. Initially stayed in a fan bungalow, but after 5 days we moved to a deluxe Bungalow with AC and a fridge. Much more comfortable. Each bungalow is quirky and unique, with it’s own porch to sit on of an evening. The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens with flowers, butterflies and squirrels. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels. The staff are wonderful and friendly. We felt very welcome. 20 metres from the gorgeous beach. The restaurant is great, food delicious and cooked fresh. Excellent pizza made fresh in the pizza oven. Prices are very reasonable. Good wine selection with house wine available in 1/2 or 1 litre. The Cactus massage ladies are fabulous and great value at 250 - 300 bht for an exquisite hour. Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend it.
