I visited Marradi to follow up some family history. The Palazzo Torriani is a most beautifully cared for family home, which has been in the same family for 500 years. It is right in the centre of the town and an easy walk from the train station. The owners regard you as guest in their home and the care and...

My partner and I went to Palazzo Torriani to celebrate his birthday along with my dad's one. We have been travelling a lot around the world and we can definitely say that everything here has exceeded our expectations. The room was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. There is a great attention to details. Anna Maria has been such a warm...

Stayed just one night, to get over the hustle and bustle of Venezia. Got a warm welcome, and a huge grand room overlooking the main road in town. Liked everything about this place. The town has no sigths, but is pleasant and seems to have a closely knit local life, and there is a good restaurant close to the railway...

A restored family Palazzo with self-contained apartments giving sumptuous privacy, yet this family were amazingly generous and hospitable. The breakfasts were a feast with something different and special every day. The family speak perfect English and were really friendly and hospitabl, even tolerating our very bad attempts to speak some Italiano. They do cooking courses which we didn't actually do...

Palazzo Torriani it's a special place in a special part of Italy, far from the noises of the big cities, far from the well known (maybe too much known Tuscany), inside the Apennini close to Romagna and the sea. Great food, great atmosphere, a different Italy.

The hospitality is wonderful. The family will give you privacy but is happy to share their home and treat you as a favorite relative. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in our many years of travel. I was amazed at the size of our room - it was quite a bit bigger than it looked in the...

We stayed at Palazzo Toriani late March. Eight nights in total, which was not one night too much! Palazzo Toriani is a top scorer in terms of friendliness, service, cleanliness, spacious rooms and historic atmosphere (ask for a tour and see the preserved ceiling paintings). The breakfast is a dream of local specialties, Often homemade, and different from day to...

We stayed one week in Marradi, and this was the highlight of all our Italian experience. The room was large and beautiful, and provided for a peaceful holiday. The hospitality and helpfulness of the Donati family was the utmost we have experienced on a large number of stays throughout the world. The breakfast was a feast every day, with freshly...
