Unfortunately not as described. Looks like halfway done. Food not good for that high price. Ok to sleep at but don't exasperated to much. ......... Not Eco only some homemade soap. Wine and oil just a mess and not looked after. .............

the resort is decorated lovely and very clean, with mountain view. The staff are very kind. one room with strong wifi signal while the other room downstairs poor, the dinner inside was prepared by the mother herself but we think it is not cost effective. But we do like the playground, soccer and tennis.

The location is terrible, they can't cook and nobody working there is nice at all. This hopefully scares people who don't bather to read further. The place is fantastic and if I can do something to keep it all to my self... I just did. What a great location and if you want some peace an quiet this is close...

Amazing value and stellar landscape! Patrizia was a great host - very helpful and sweet. She booked our tickets for some of the sites in Florence so we didn't have to wait in line. Patrizia also recommended a wine tour for us and it was well worth it. We toured a castle and then enjoyed dinner on the terrace overlooking...

Podere Castellare has many qualities - it is located in a beautiful countryside with stunning views over the valley and rolling hills, it has great grounds including a very nice garden, packed with plants and herbs, and a beautiful pool and a terrace. And it serves very nice food - breakfast wins over dinner. However when it comes down to...

We enjoyed our stay in September of 2014. The host of the facility could not have been nicer.....even going out of her way to make us an appointment for a winery tour. Good food, fantastic views day and night and a quiet, comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed Podere Castellare. Beautiful place, good food and wonderful views. The managers, Graziano and Giada, speak English, so there was no communication problem. The breakfasts were delicious, try the homemade yogurt! Pizzas cooked in wood burning oven for supper best I have had. Organic products from their farm were used in their food preparation. Be sure and visit the gardens....

So what is the but...? The rooms are bare bone. No place for clothes. No dresser. Concrete floors. Designed by a minimalist. This was all offset by the best innkeepers in the business. Hospitality galore. Great food. Wonderful breakfast buffet with delicious handmade granola and cakes. Yogurt superb. The views were outstanding. The pool wonderful. Would I go back? Yes,...

We stayed here as part of a tour through Nada's Italy. Our room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the food was fabulous! The managers, Graziano and Giada, were very helpful and spoke English. The views from the terrace, especially at sunset, were great. One evening we were treated to delicious pizza cooked on the terrace in a...
