This is not just a place to stay, but a first class fully inclusive cooking holiday. I spent a fun 3 days doing the patisserie course. I learned to make chocolate eclairs, croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, macaroons, raspberry tarts and a beautiful peach and chocolate mousse dessert. I stayed in a large room with ensuite shower room....

A very basic hotel in beautiful landscape. The rooms are reasonably spacious with simple furniture. The historic construction generates seriously cracking floor. There is no air-conditioning. Overall, the room and the shower room were clean. The breakfast was very tasty, benefitting of jam made by the owner. Then place to say no more than few days it is ideally calm...

Marlene and Marc were the perfect hosts for a French Patisserie course. The setting is amazing set in the countryside just outside Anzex amongst fields of sunflowers. Our room was clean, large and comfortable, Marc's food was delicious and there was endless amounts of it! Local Buzet wine is very nice too. Marlene's tuition is well paced, knowledgeable and expertly...

This was a treat from my Partner for my Birthday and was the best Birthday present I think I've ever had! We arrived on saturday afternoon to be presented with homemade canapes and a homemade aperitif...

Marc and Marlene are extremely welcoming, great hosts, amazing teachers and amazing cooks! Felt like I was at a friends house learning from a friend. Beautiful house, gorgeous...

This is one of the best holiday experiences I have had from all over the world. The cookery course is very rewarding and enjoyable. The hosts are outstanding. Marlene has a very good way with her students. Mark is a perfect host. It is very clear to see how hard they work to provide their guests with a rewarding and...

I went to Le Gargantua on my own to do a short cooking course. I was fetched at the station by Marlene who immediately put me at ease. She took me to their home which is also a B&B . The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The house is in a charming country setting. The cooking course began the next...

We arrived at the station and Marlene was there waiting for us. When we got to the house we had tea/coffee and homemade biscuits. We had time to settle in and then dinner! What a treat we had in store. Marc cooked and eat ate, drank and got merry. The next day saw us at the Prune Museum in the...
