Just returned from a wonderful stay in this gorgeous boutique vineyard B&B. Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after without us ever really realising it! The bed was so comfy I didn't want to get up but was glad when I did because the surroundings were idyllic and Annie's food is truly delicious. Will definitely be going... More

My husband and I were looking forward to staying at the Clos de la Barbanne as part of our anniversary weekend getaway from Madrid. It was more than we expected, not only in the beautiful area with views of the vineyards right next to the property, but the caliber of service from Annie and Laurent is hard to beat! They... More

It is hard to think of anything to say about the Clos De Barbanne, except to endorse what others have already said and to give a flavour of our personal experience. My wife is partially handicapped and uses an electric wheelchair to get around, although she can walk short distances. This meant that we requested and were given a ground... More

My wife, sister in law, and I were traveling throughout Southern France and had arranged for a stay with Annie and Laurent at their beautiful home in Saint-Emilion. I had emailed with Annie 1-2 months prior to our trip and she was incredibly flexible with our dietary and travel needs (one vegetarian, one pregnant traveler, and loose arrival times) as... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay here for 2 nights in May. Annie and Laurent are perfect hosts, welcoming but unobtrusive. Annie cooked for us one evening, presenting a delicious 5 course meal in an elegant setting,so light and flavoursome we could manage it all. Laurent's tour of the vineyard and his talk on the history of wine... More

Both myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights in August on recommendation from friends to tour around the vineyards of St Emilion. We quickly came to the realisation that we couldn't of hoped for a more perfect location and place to stay. Both Laurant and Annie who own and run Clos De Barbanne were the most hospitable couple... We stayed at Le Clos de la Barbanne in late July with our dear friends. From the outset Laurant and Annie were welcoming and incredibly helpful with a suggested itinerary. Laurant is a very well informed and excellent wine maker and we so enjoyed his company and tour of his property throughout which we were informed in a very wonderful... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early August and have already recommended to many of our friends. The quality of the accommodation and attention to detail were second to none and would put many top notch hotels to shame. Annie and Laurent were perfect hosts. Laurent went out of his way to help with some car problems on arrival...including checking... More

We have enjoyed the magic of Clos de la Barbanne and the hospitality of Annie and Laurent three times now. In a beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by vines and mature trees, with comfortable, spacious rooms: all the essentials for a relaxing stay are here. Everything from Annie’s gourmet cooking and ‘concierge services’ to Laurent’s passion for the production of... More

We stayed for a few days recently, and very much looked forward to the trip. Property overall is lovely. The rooms are large and relatively well equipped, with 3 standard rooms and one room which seems to be the result of one of the owners indulgence which is not in fitting with the rest of the property which most clients...
