Firstly I would like to point out that it's a bit out of the way, but on the bus route !!! and to get the full benefit you do need to hire a car, but then again to see the island at your own pace (as and when) you do need to drive (it's the same as home they drive... More

This was the 3rd time we had stayed at the Tal Fanal, as with my previous review its a basic place but the out door area more than makes up for that. We had a bungalow right by the pool, we knew what to book having stayed before and this suited us as we were with another family with a... More

you need a car if you stay there. it is a nice place, but there is no bar or restaurant, it is only 10 minutes from Victoria, where there are a lot of restaurants and shops, a nice village to go;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

A very enjoyable two week family holiday. The accomodation was large, with big kitchen/ dining area that also accomodated our two children, aged 16 and 12 years old. We had a separate bedroom that had a small balcony. Kitchen had good cooking facilities, including oven, microwave and fridge. There was no air conditioning but the fans did half a job... More

Small village hotel type easily to be recommended to all people with kids and no kids. Pool is proper size, light house nearby, only disadvantage is lack of restourant nearby. But taking into Account that You need 15 min to drive entire island It is not a big deal.

We picked Tal-Fanal self catering appartments for our family holiday because it had a pool, which is unique for a non-hotel or villa holiday in Gozo. The complex is pleasant and the staff are helpful. The pool was perfect for the kids. The appartment we stayed in could do with updating; particuarly in the kitchen, but it wasnt an issue.... More

Firstly the place does not have a bar or a bar in the village. I like a few drinks, but this was good as there was no noise at night. I was with my wife and 2 teenage kids. After we booked my mother in law and father in law booked. We had an upstairs apartment, nice views of the... More

We booked this despite some mixed reviews but have been very pleased with it. It's a well designed pretty set of apartments around a pool with palms and flowers. The apartment (we had no.23) was one bedded but fine for 4 of us with 2 fold out singles in the living room. It was clean with enough for self catering... More

A pleasant and relaxing stay. The pool is very nice. The locality is nice and tranquil. Would have preferred some air conditioning in the rooms. On the whole We all enjoyed our stay at the village and would be happy to stay there again

The apartment hotel offers spacey rooms at a decent price. The rooms are tidy and are in decent shape. The check in logistics and general information leaves more to wish for. But if you care to stay in a quiet town and have a car for your excursions, this is a good place to spend a few vacation days.
