Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Location is off the main road, down a dirt road with no lights. We paid 5k baht for a detached villa on the sea front. The room was very spacious, but the air con struggled to cool the room and the ceiling fan was quite noisy. So, I did not get a good night's sleep. Best thing was the polite helpful reception. Take note: All the sunbeds on the sea front are covered with towels before 8am, same Benidorm. The hotel uses the taxi company opposite hotel and add 200 baht onto the fare for their troubles. Our taxi driver was useless, he could not find our Hotel in Lamai Beach and just kept going round in circles.

The resort is very located in a quiet place, still restaurants, bars and supermarkets are close. The bungalows are nice, clean and have A/C. Food and drinks there were delicious, the breakfast buffet which was included as well as the food we had for dinner there. The staff is very friendly, especially at the reception they were very helpful with ordering taxis, reservations of trips and other useful information. I would also recommend the massage at the resort. Not only they have a large choice of massages, also the ladies there do a good job. All in all I enjoyed my stay there a lot and would totally recommend it to others.

We stayed here for 4 days and experienced a great stay. The staff were always so kind and helpful, and the breakfast included was absolutely rich. The general impression of the interior is retro and solid, which gives a cosy atmosphere. The vegetarian options in the restaurant are just great. The beach and swimming possibility were excellent. We must recommend this place.

We stayed here for one night before we got on the ferry to go to Koh Tao. Can’t criticise it for what we needed it for. Clean tidy room. The staff in the morning gave us a lift to the ferry which was a brilliant service free of charge. Thank you.

Liked · We stayed in a beach villa room having only booked a standard double bungalow and been upgraded, great start! The pool is a great size, but the beach is amazing. Staff sweep the sand clean each morning and the sunrises were exceptional. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the resturant is very reasonably priced for a resort like this. Disliked · Very little negatives! As is common in Thailand there were some wildlife encounters, with tiny lizards in the main room and 2 large geckos who visited the bathroom each day when the sun had been on the back wall all day. Rather them than the 8-legged guests that they eat so no problem for us. A bit out of the way location wise, but this was no issue for us as it was the first stop on our 3 week trip so we just wanted to relax and unwind.

The resort is quite nice, although a little run down in some areas. But the staff are working hard on the grounds every day and the gardens are quite nice. The pool is beautiful and the beach is great. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant onsite is also quite good and the included breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were very friendly. We were booked into a standard bungalow at this resort which was very very basic and somewhat rustic. We had a few flying insects in our room at night from gaps in the window and door frames. No mosquito netting, but there was air con, an in room safe, hair dryer and toiletries. We were offered a free upgrade to a deluxe room but it was a toss up which room was better or worse. Our room backed onto the maintenance area and the upgrade room was along the road. We decided to stay in our standard room as it had a king sized bed and my husband is very tall. The other room had a queen. We had hoped to upgrade into a superior bungalow as they looked lovely, but the resort was full. Our recommendation would be to book a superior bungalow closer to the beach if possible. Had we known what the “standard” room really entailed we would have upgraded when we made the reservation. Overall though, it is a pleasant resort and we would go back. There are also some good restaurants within walking distance just down the road.

We stayed here for one night because we were taking the ferry from Pralarn pier on the next day. The location is great as it is right next to the pier. The room is dated and facilities are very simple. Breakfast buffet is overrated. It’s better to order A la Carte. The food is good.

Stayed for 3 days to chill prior to getting ferry to Koh Tao. We had a basic room with air conditioning. The room was adequate for what we needed. Fridge, kettle decent shower. The room was quite dark due to the furniture and bamboo matting on the walls. We had a nice small terrace to sit out on but no view other than the jungle garden. Our bungalow was near the entrance to the resort. There were better rooms further down towards the pool and beach front. Pool, bar, restaurant and beach are lovely with superb views. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Located next door to the ferry pier. It’s easy to book the ferry and walk next door with your bags to get on the ferry. Very enjoyable stay. Recommend.

Room Tip: If you are staying for longer than 3 days, pay a little more for a bungalow closer to the beach...
