Nice big room with terrasse, modern and clean. First class dinner experience with outstanding food and very attentive and friendly service. Full advice also provided for outdoor activities. The Lavazé Plain is top for cross country skiing and with ca 1800 m altitude safe for snow on all its ca. 45 km well prepared loipes. Nice pool and spa wirh two saunas offer relaxation. Great experience, comes with a cost though.

It's hard to pick out any particular highlight of our 5 days at Hotel Marica. It was delight from start to finish. It began with a helpful and friendly email exchange before we arrived. We decided not to take a car so we flew to Verona, got the train to Bolzano and then the bus to the hotel in Eggen. Carola provide the details we needed. Buses featured prominently in our stay and they were frequent, spotless, ran perfectly on time and allowed us to access great areas for hikes. The food was often unusual. The chef is really creative and we experienced many different dishes that both looked and tasted good. All the staff were very well trained, friendly and helpful. The restaurant ran like clockwork. The location is great. There is nothing much in Eggen but it is beautiful and unspoilt. The majestic mountains are all around. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a view over the valley. We didn't make use of the pool and spa but they seemed to be of the same high standard as everything else. We were hoping to practise our Italian but were a little surprised to find that German was the main language of the area. This however was never a problem.…

If you like being pampered you cannot miss this hotel.Carole and Manfred run a very impressive hotel with an inventive cuisine better than some michelin restaurants i have eaten at ,a relaxing spa and spacious well furnished rooms.If you are sporty Manfred will take you skiing or cycling and the bar in the evening has a nice buzz.The village where the hotel is situated is very pretty and nearby there are scenic walks.This is my third stay in this hotel and the owners go beyond their duty .Highly recommended!

I booked the Hotel for a single night on a Mountain Bike Alp crossing. It was a perfect choice. The quality of the room, meals and facilities were excellent. The Bike room is video monitored and has a fully equipped workshop, better than my own.

Honestly, pictures don't do justice. This family run hotel is clean, fresh and beautiful. The room was beyond my expectations: big, clean and had breathtaking views. I appreciated all the small touches that you don't find in a corporate run hotels. Always could count on fantastic advice on hikes and attractions. What really blew my mind was the restaurant. As someone with a celiac disease I'm used to having very simple meals as its hard to cater just for one person. Well, Hotel Marica had very elaborate and delicious gluten free menu during my stay. Even fresh gluten free bread. I was so happy! It made me feel so welcome! Area is phenomenal for hikes, mountain biking, skiing, night photography. I want to return next summer and would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is run by wonderful family, reflecting on the name of the hotel. Marica Hotel made my trip in Dolomite perfect and unforgettable. The room is very big, clean, comfortable bed, very tasty breakfast, and an excellent view from the room.

Me and my family (2 adults and one kid age 9) visited Hotel Marica in July 2019. Wonderful surroundings, very Nice hotel and excellent service and food. We also enjoyed biking very much, with map or with guide from hotel.

I stayed there for a week in August with my family (2 small kids), we had an excellent time. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable, food is superb, owners and staff always smiling, kind and helpful, the location is perfect to start your hikes or mtb trips and very quiet. Loved it.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Marica. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable, and fun-filled with amazing activities and local experiences. It was our first time in Süd Tirol, and we weren't quite sure what kinds of activities we could expect. The program that the hotel offered quickly answered that question for us -- we went on an amazing hike in the Rosengarten with an experienced and friendly guide. On day 2 we had the chance to tour a local, biodynamic wine farm that I can't remember the name of, but it was an amazing, unique experience. I don't mean to sound overzealous, I can honestly say that this was the nicest experience I've ever had at a hotel. Thanks again to the hosts, and we hope to come back soon.
