The quality of this villa blew us away. We rented a villa for the weekend and we were stunned how beautiful it was and the delicious site grown madafu on arrival. The master bedroom on the top floor in particular was breath-taking with a terrace balcony with a view of the ocean, double showers and huge jacuzzi.

There were many areas to relax at different points of the day allowing us to either enjoy or hide from the blazing sun. The pool was a good size and a great way to cool off when temperatures got too high.

Faiza and her team were excellent. In particular, Joel, our personal villa butler was always on call for our every desire from mixing potent local Dewa cocktails to preparing a candlelit jacuzzi bath after dinner.

The food menu was extensive from seafood to local to Indian meaning there was always something to try. The extensive breakfast was probably our highlight with proper Kenya coffee, a fruit platter and eggs any style.

We will definitly return in the future.

This was our second visit here, the first time being last February pre-Covid . After 16 months of staying at home, this was the only place we were comfortable going back to with young children. It was another great stay with all the staff being mindful of safety precautions, wearing masks and always being accommodating to all our requests (and those of our boys).

The food is outstanding and plentiful, and the villa is spacious, clean and comfortable. The showers are hot and powerful unlike many other places where all you get is a weak trickle of cold water. A great pool, and far enough away from Diani to avoid the crowds if you want to feel safe. Definitely worth a visit.

Decided to give this place a try on a recent trip, having stayed at many similar luxury villas on the Diani strip. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be returning soon. The villas are child friendly, with well appointed large, modern rooms with sea facing balconies, spacious bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a large kitchen and lush gardens. The staff were exceptional, and the food was possibly the best we've had on the Kenyan coast. From the lobster, prawns, crab, oysters, steak, chicken kiev, curries and more, English, Swahili and Indian breakfasts, fresh juices, and one of the most beautiful pools facing the ocean, it's difficult to find something that's not to like. A huge thank you to Faiza, Andrew, chef John, Joel, Juliana and the team.

I had a wonderful experience at Villa Kalista. Every staff member I encountered, from the management, in-house chefs, to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Stunning views and a perfectly sized pool with infinity views of the Indian Ocean., the food is exceptional especially the seafood platter. Thank you! Will recommend to my all my friends & family.

Villa Kalista is truly a hidden gem. While I would be quick to hide it from the rest of the world, It does the facility good to give it the highest scores. Nikhil Kapoor and his team of 20 made our stay exquisitely perfect. We instantly felt at home with his professional briefings, eye for detail and friendliness to our little ones. From yummy custom made meals to an amazing pool area, it is worth every penny and a-must return.

We had an absolutely incredible time at Kalista! From the moment we arrived the service was attentive and seamless. A powerful AC and a rain shower combined with super comfortable beds made the rooms extra cosy, although with kids, sleeping in unfortunately wasn't an option!

Since we had taken 3 villas, they were super flexible in having all of us dine at one, kids play area in the other, and adults chill zone in the last one so we all got our space. The food was absolutely incredible. They organised a BBQ by the beach one evening, Chinese food another and a full Lebanese menu for the entire group. Kids meals were on time and wolfed down in a jiffy after a busy morning of swimming. Deserts are to die for!

You know when a property goes out of their way when they manage to organise Zumba classes on the beach at clients request and a private boat charter to the sandbank, complete with cooler box full of drinks and snacks.

Nikhil, the Property Manager was always on call and super helpful in all ways. His team are well trained and after a while they just knew our orders for coffee and drinks.

One place i'd definitely visit again with the family.

We (2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 13) stayed here for a few nights after a safari and it was just perfect in every way - real luxury! The villas are beautiful, tastefully decorated, with 3 large bedrooms all with en suites and all with sea views. The master room has a huge jacuzzi too! There is a spacious lounge and large outdoor terrace facing the pool. The food is just amazing - there is an extensive menu to choose from but the chefs are also happy to prepare bespoke meals. The grounds are beautiful and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design and layout. The beach is a few steps away - perfect for morning strolls. But the standout feature is the incredible service. All the staff were so kind and attentive. Special thanks to the manager Nikhil who was always on hand to check that everything was ok, to chef Jonathan for his amazing meals, to Edward for his great cocktails, and to Laurence for looking after us throughout our stay. We had such a lovely relaxing stay, which was just what we needed after a hectic safari. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this place for a family or group holiday. My 10 year old daughter sums it up perfectly: "After staying at Kalista, anywhere else will be a downgrade!"

The host, Faiza is also the owner and lives on property. She has made it her personal mission to ensure that guests have an excellent and comfortable stay.

The villas are situated about 20 mins drive from Diani airport on a dirt road. To get cabs and other local transport is difficult here. However the management will try and provide transfer at a fee. We visited the place during Christmas unfortunately we couldn't swim in the sea as the beach was rocky. Have been told that the situation changes in Feb when the sand comes back.

The villas are all very clean and comfortable. The master bedroom have jacuzzi and 2 showers and sinks !!!. wow. The A/C worked very well, which is a big plus as most other places A/C are always an issue.
They provide meals which to say the least are truly delicious. Faiza catered to all our requests exceptionally well. Freshly baked doughnuts, croissants, etc were excellent. Excellent large portions of sea food that was yummy.

The pool is good but if there was shade on one side than it will be better, also need some lights in the pool and a better pool bar fridge.

I would recommend this place highly and I would definitely visit this place again

Just got back from Villas kalista. Went with a 3 families and the stay was exceptional. Absolutely lovely holiday. The place was very private especially since we wanted to maintain social distancing and just be with our small group. There 4 luxury villas and each villa is very tastefully furnished. The property is beach front and the sunrises are one of the best I have seen. The service was remarkable. Andy and his team looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and ensuring that we were spoilt. The food was amazing especially the barbecue by pool bar, with sea food, (lobster, prawns, crabs) chef John was brilliant. If you are looking for a private escape with friends and family. I would strong recommend Villa kalista. The service, the food and the hospitality is impeccable. Thank you to the entire team you made us forget that Corona even existed for the period we stayed there.

For the past year, I've been planning an epic Kenya vacation for my 25 of my American friends and family. Villa Kalista was the final leg of our trip and I could not have been more satisfied with my decision. We arrived and were served fresh drinks by attentive, personable staff who became quick friends by the end of our 5 day trip. The ooos and ahhhs from my group was a telltale sign that Villa Kalista topped their expectations. Everyone's room was perfect, AC and fans worked well and everyone had an oceanfront view. The pool was crystal clear and maintained a perfect temperature. We tried our best to keep the bartenders (Edward and Albert) busy and they were wonderful the whole time - clearly experienced and so fun to be around. The entire property is in top notch condition. Fortunately, we had the whole place booked for our group which added to the exclusive and high end experience we enjoyed. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the quality of the food - we all agreed that it was among the best food we've enjoyed at a hotel. Finally, the hostess and owner of the property, Faiza, was truly amazing to work with. From the planning stages of this trip to the final goodbye, we felt fully taken care of. I'm overjoyed as I reflect on my time at Villa Kalista and if you've read to this point you'd might as well just go ahead and book, it will be the time of you life!

Villa Kalista is ideal for a family. They have about 5 units each with three rooms with a common swimming pool. If you are 12 I would suggest you take two villas.
