We spent some time choosing a hotel for our first visit to Trentino, and after reading the reviews and looking at their website we decided to book it for a week. It's even better than our expectations! I will try to summarize our impressions and I rarely give a rating of five: the owner Franz and his family strive to treat their clients in the best possible way, and they are quite successful at that: everybody including the staff are extremely courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate every request. The hotel has been renovated this year in an amazing way: designer furniture with a local inspiration all over, from the hall to the spa, and the rooms are spacious, cozy, very clean, with great amenities (including a stilish bag you can take to the spa) and made with the best wood. The pool is amazing, and the natural lake makes you want to spend the whole afternoon there. We met some families who keep coming year after year and said the hotel gets better and better. We choose the half board formula and every night it's a feast with a wide choice of salads, a freshly made soup, a starter, a main course and a dessert, and everything is beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. The chef can span from mittel-European to Italian dishes and combines very well local products with sea food. Just one advice from a pasta lover: to improve the tomato sauce :-) the buffet breakfast offers all you can wish for, including home made pies. Every morning a four page booklet is waiting at our table with the weather forecast, suggestions for excursions, a recipe and much more, a very nice gesture from the owners. Finally, the location is very strategic if you want to visit as many locations as possible from beautiful Sud Tirol and the Dolomites region.…
