Stayed for 10 days from boxing day. A lot of the issues we had were the mismatch of what tui said versus the hotel like 5 minute walk to the beach - actually 20, as no access to beach through big hotels. No food served and bar open occasionally for a few hours. No kids here for mine to play with. Pool quite nice, but kept putting cholrine in it during the middle of the day and closing it for a few hours at a time. No internet in either of 2 rooms we tried, only right out on balcony or at pool and mosquitos so bad that this was not possible most of time. Staff nice, but would not waive charges for very poor internet, said it was island wide which is not true. Also said mosquitos were this bad over the island - not true - it was so bad here, sealed door and balcony door with towels, sprayed room, had plug in and every type of spray, but would still get in somewhere and get you when sleeping or when showered the spray off. Not enough fogging done for this. All felt unwell on holiday with sore throats, kids bitten and very high temperatures and ear infections from pool. only other kid there also got ear infection. There is dengue on island and it is dangerous to be bitten. Sleep quality poor as everyone up switching aircon on and off, either too cold if in bedroom with ice cold aircon or too hot if in living room. Too far for kids to walk, all exhausted from trudging back and forward to beach and supermarket in extreme heat and ended up using taxis which are 10 US$ each time..

We spent two weeks here in January 2020. The staff here are very pleasant to deal with and the grounds and pool area are kept fairly clean. (will someone please clean the butts out of the planter at the bottom of the stairs near the pool and plant something in it ! ) Rooms are a little dated but kept very clean. Unfortunately the bar / restaurant area did not have any regular hours so use the kitchenette in your apartment and keep your own refreshments on hand. Good value for your dollar so would stay here again.

Very good apartments with a great swimming pool in Holetown. Visited in October. Rooms have Aircon, spacious and quiet. Close to the main shops by car (within 5 mins) walking (10-15 mins). I would happily book again. Staff very helpful.

If you want a real taste of Bajan life then look no further. The Palms Resort is an ideal base to capture the wildlife and wonders of this friendly island. Birds, monkeys, tree frogs and mongoose happily lived alongside this quality 16 apartment resort.
The accommodation is well equipped, roomy and airy and sit neatly around the site with a well cared for pool and plenty of sunbeds and umbrella.
The staff are friendly, kind but also professional and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. The free WiFi is excellent and there's the additional bonus of a pass for the Sunset Crest Beach Club on the seafront. A peaceful environment to rest after a day at the beach or touring the island.

We arrived here on Friday 4th November 2022. What a beautiful boutique hotel, this place is stunning for a small 16 apartment complex. The welcome we have had here from the management, reception, cleaners and everyone else at this gem has been awsome. We are here for a month and are so pleased we will be spending our holiday here. The hotel has been re-ferbished from top to bottom at a very high standard. Literally everything is brand new, beds, huge TV, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, couch literally everything , apartment re-painted etc etc. The pool has been re done with all umbrellas and sun loungers new and extremely comfortable. Once again the staff can't do enough for us. My wife and I would highly recommend this little haven, on a side line we are in room 11 with a great view of this awsome pool.

Just arrived back to the UK from a 3 week trip and stayed at Travellers. We have stayed here before but they have just renovated and really like the improvements made. USB ports in the bedroom cabinets were a great addition (who dosen't need these now) The decor is lovely and the maid service is fab. Pool area is spotless and pool really clean maintained by John the maintainance man who is so helpful if you need anything just ask John he will get it done he is a true asset to this place. Our aircon was playing up and John fixed it immediatley nothing is too much trouble Always happy and chatty. The staff here are all very welcoming and friendly again if you need something just ask. Only thing i would say is it a shame they now have no food or drinks service it used to be nice having a evening drink and food and getting to know the other residents. Travellers is not far from most amienties Beach/Resturants and of course the supermarket for all your supplies . For us ladies great hairdressers not far. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Just returned from an AMAZING 2 week stay at The Travellers Palm.
The apartment was absolutely stunning, modern decor and everything you'll need for a "Home From Home" feel. The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff, including house keeping and maintenance were absolutely delightful and would greet you with a beaming smile.
The apartments are about a 10/15 minute stroll to the supermarket Massey's where you can buy local and UK branded items. Also, the beautiful Holetown beach is about a 10 minute walk. There's a cut through when you get to the highway, cross over the road and you'll see a cut through on the left.
I cannot recommend the Travellers Palm highly enough.
Thank you and see you soon!!!!!!

Would not recommend to my worst enemy,a massive lack of upgrading for an obviously long time meant:blocked toilets for two days, tvs & internet not working, dirty rooms, water supply off for 2days.A lack of staff on site, who when they appeared were reactive ,rather than proactive, not fault of staff but clearly an owner who no longer cares about their clients. What it did offer was good value in comparison to other prooerties but at a considerable risk to your health and well being.

Just returned from Palms Resort, Holetown, Barbados after a nineteen night stay. Site is compact, well maintained, aircon in all apartments and grouped around a swimming pool. Great base from which to explore and reasonable value for money. Apartments have aircon, good kitchens for those who like to self-cater and are serviced daily..

What made our stay however was the attitude and dedication of the reception and housekeeping teams, both ably led by Miss Thea. Nothing was too much trouble and service was always delivered with a smile.

Guests were mostly older couples from Canada, UK and the US and provided very good company.

We will be booking again.

Robert and Sheila

Currently in this appt . 1 week in 3 to go . Appt given a swift clean ! x2 in a week ,Had to request towel change today , a week after arriving . Although hand towel wasn’t changed . 1 bath towel each & only 1 hand towel 😧
So back to reception tomorrow, request clean hand towel & possibly another 2 . Not easy drying body & hair with 1 towel 🫣
Ants are a problem in the kitchen area. 🤨 Rubbish been left for days at a time becomes smelly .
It appears , on request they eventually meet your needs . Will update , next wk . ? Bed changed 1 since arrival .

Hello Maria U, I've personally checked bases on the dates you've stated and could not find you in our reservations. We do not have any guest staying in the period you indicated for 3 weeks. Our hotel just completed a major renovation of all 16 rooms in November of 2022. We hired additional staff and completed extensive re-training. Your review is not in line with other reviews and feedback we've received, I therefore would like the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Please reach out to me at res@thepalmsresort.net
