Loved the 2 nights that I spent at Savuti Camp during an 8 day safari in Botswana with colleagues. It was the place that I felt most at one with nature and the elephant viewing from our deck was just incredible. It was also our...More

Dear amanda, Savuti Camp is situated in the private Linyanti Concession along the Savute Channel, famous as a sporadic and unusual watercourse. For many years the channel was dry, before the waters returned in 2008, attracting abundant game and transforming the area. As part of...More

We (4 adults) stayed 2 nights at the Savuti Camp next to the Savuti Channel. The main building with dining and several lounge areas is an open wooden structure with reed grass cover and a spacious porch deck right on top of the water. The...More

Dear MundB, Thank you for your beautiful review, there really is nothing quite as special as an African sunset, unless you count all the amazing sightings you enjoyed. We would love to see some of your great photos - feel free to share these on...More

About
Description
Standing on the raised wooden deck of Savuti, one is able to marvel at the phenomenon of nature at work. Just beneath this remote safari camp flows the enigmatic Savute Channel, until recently a dry More grassland. In 2008, the waters returned and as a result game concentrations are particularly high in the dry winter season. A thatched main area and viewing deck take in the scene, while exploring the length of the Savute and its associated woodlands by boat or vehicle is a highlight here. • 7 tents (1 family) • day and night game drives • guided walks • boating • hides Less
