Fantastic location that allows you to visit the land of Toscana. Our room was beautiful, very good taste in the decoration and marvelous view. The best of all was the experience with our hosts Marie and her two sons Piero and Eric. They took such good care of us. They anticipated everything we liked and needed. The food was fantastic!... After two weeks in Italy, this was our last stop and we certainly saved some of the best for last. Pierre and his family are the most incredible hosts - nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family. Brother Eric and mother Marie-Therese run the most charming farmhouse, with the most incredible... More

Before traveling to Italy, we were hoping to have the true "La dolce vita" (the sweet life) experience. We wanted to step away from our hectic work schedules and life routines and take long lunches and strolls during the day and just relax. At Tenuta la Santissima, we truly experienced this and more! My husband and I stayed here for... More

My wife and I stopped here on our way from Florence to Rome so that we could explore Tuscany by car. Mama's food was the best that we had and everyone made us feel so welcome and comfortable. You get a room, delicious food, a living area, smooth jazz and a wonderful, quiet place to enjoy. Pierre is an excellent... More

We recently stayed here for 5 nights, and what a place to stay. Mama, Pierre, Eric and the pets made us feel like part of the family. Don't come here if you're on a diet!! Mama makes the most delicious food ever! We had booked an evening meal for the first evening which was gorgeous. We ate so much (4... More

Our stay at this lovely B&B was a highlight of our trip. Pierre was the most accommodating and gracious host, going out of his way to ensure our every comfort. And “Mama” is the most amazing cook! Definitely have dinner there at least one evening. I am gluten-intolerant and she kindly went above and beyond baking amazingly delicious dishes for... More

I truly cannot even begin to describe how wonderful this place is. But I will try. Not only do you get to stay in an amazingly beautiful 17th century Italian villa, it has been lovingly restored over the course of 36 years by the most wonderful and loving family. From the moment we wandered into the driveway, a bit unsure... More

We have been home two weeks and hubby is still talking about Mama's food! Everything other reviewers have said about Mama, Pierre and Eric and their kindness is true. We stayed at eight different places on our trip to Tuscany, Umbria and Emilia Romagna and la Tenuta la Santissima is the only place we will remember in twenty years time.... More

We stayed at this charming B&B for four nights and absolutely loved it! We were greeted by two very cute basset hounds (total of 5 dogs in the family but none go to the B&B) Our room was the smaller of the two rooms but still quite spacious, and very clean. The common area was large and actually had two... More

Fantastic stay south of Siena, beautifully restored and furnished 400 year old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside. Mama makes wonderful breakfasts that can hold you until dinner. We used the stay for exploring the surrounding area and it was the perfect home base. We stayed eight days and had dinner two nights which will surpass even your highest expectations! Absolutely...
