My husband, myself and adult daughter stayed at Galissas Studios 30th June to 14th July. In the 35 odd years we have been coming to Greece, the studio was the best one we have had! We were right opposite the pool, the studio was spotlessly clean, well appointed (kettle, coffee

We booked a 2 week holliday on Syros, through Olympic Holidays, staying at Galissas Apartments from 6th to 20th July. It is ideally situated in a quiet location about 50 metres from the bars, cafes, tavernas, supermarket and Galissas Beach. It aslo had a pool with sunbeds

Had two wonderful weeks in Galissas studios. Rooms were equipped with the essentials. I’m not gonna cook banquet feasts on my hols. Things like soap in the bathroom, liquid in the kitchen were a nice touch. Not been anywhere in Greece and had my bedding changed and room cleaned

We had room 16. Only one light, switch by door so not convenient for night visit to loo as it is very dark. There is a small bedside lamp 40 w if you can reach the switch which is on the cable. Sockets hidden by furniture bar one. Pool hardly used due to rules - no diving, no

There is no exchange facility at the studios or in the village and no ATM. Buses run regularly and although I did use them, it appears they should be accessible with a frame. Average price for a main meal and dessert 10-15 euros, 3 euros for a beer and 6-8 euros for half litre of house wine.

Sorry there is no Pool bar here but locals shops are only a couple of hundred yards away with plenty of choice, All apartments have fridge and AC and the pool is excellent. Owner and wife are great and both speak very good English. Beach is very near and very nice. with a good taverna. We went for the first time this year and are booked to go back next year - have to say one of our best Greek holidays. Owner also does car hire - older models but good. We paid 25 euro's for 1 day, so not bad.

"We had studio opposite pool. No problem with noise as no pool bar. Canopy covered in passionflower, so shady. Think it was number 8."
"Choose an apartment if you can"
"They all looked good"
"Rooms have various benefits - pool or garden view, shady balcony, but all are quiet. Worth mentioning what appeals to you when you book."
"Rooms at front are larger. Smaller rooms have view over pool area."
