This place hit all the bad points of a trip. Honestly, I don't know how they are still in business. When we checked in there were no issues. When we checked out that was when the fun started. We were there with a CONEX gift card and the hotel did their very best to screw us out of as much...

The room i was given was still in the 70s when the hotel might have been built. Poor bathroom, horrible lighting, the bed that was worse than expected. They still have those huge heavy brass key holders and not the key cards to unlock the doors. Anyways, check in was fine, the hotel itself has a structure that is convoluted...

Entering the main building, the reception, there is a definite musty odor. All the building has it. The dinner was absolutely tasteless.... The bathroom is old fashioned and very closette smelly which can not be eliminated. The wardrobe is very small for 2 people. The beds are old and unconfortable. No fridge in the room. The WIFI is horrible weak,...

We stayed for 1 night to attend a wedding. We booked 2 rooms since we are 3 adults and 2 kids, To my surprise, we still need to pay EUR 18 for each kid which I completely don't understand. Even a 6 yr old cannot stay for free. I was not able to really enjoy the facilities so I have...

Hotel Waldachtal is located in the small very quiet village of Lutzenhard. The village has no train station so if you don't have a car you need to catch a bus from Lutzenhard to Freudenstadt Hbf to make use of the Konus card. The bus stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel and buses run roughly every hour...

When I arrived this didn't look too promising. Dark an foreboding. However once inside, it's marvellous. All rooms have balcony or garden. Authentically German - you might struggle with English only. Restaurant packed with many in lederhosen and dirndls. Very rich food - very German.excellent food and service and reasonably priced. Great choice at breakfast. Good location for discovering the...

Given what we paid this was a fantastic experience .Set in a small village with some wonderful countryside close by this was a holiday to remember. There were some negatives but none big enough to complain about. The best thing was the super breakfast spread .Everyday with something different on offer.

This hotel is situated in a picturesque area of the Black Forest, and s quite an extensive establishment, basically comprising two buildings, one of which houses a swimming pool. The breakfasts were comprehensive and first class, and the evening meals included in our ebay package were also of good quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and were kind...

We got a Groupon to stay here, so it was a great deal. Last time we were disappointed, so we were hoping for a better experience and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is almost 2000' high up in the Black Forest, and is set between two streets, so you may hike up and down stairs to get from your room...
