We stayed one night at Vaughan’s after a day at the Cliffs of Moher. It’s a great stop, especially after a long day since it’s so close to the cliffs. We got Room #4, a beautiful room at the front of the inn and it was super comfortable, especially the bed. It wasn't a problem for us, but be prepared... More

stopped for light bite with seafood chowder in mind. What was actually served was a bowl of seafood broth with some salmon and bits of onion and Cabbage. Who puts cabbage in chowder? Not to mention extremely OVERPRICED chowder.

A beautiful old style Inn with the freshest local produced seafood. Only the best sumptuous oysters crab and fish from the staggering Galway bay one of the freshest natural bays for sea food in the world. The food is cooked simply with great skill and regard. The deserts are a chocoholics dream.

Liscannor is the closest village to the Cliffs of Moher. Downstairs at the front the hotel is part small general store and part bar in a very Irish way. Behind is a meals area and at the back is the new seafood restaurant with a wall feature aquarium. Upstairs are comfortable modern rooms( not large because it's a very old... More

The food here is EXCELLENT and the lodging was quite nice too. We had walked the cliffs of Moher from Doolin and this place was the perfect end to a wonderful day. The room was simple but had all we needed and came with a nice welcome from friendly and efficient staff. The real reason to come is the best... More

This was a lovely restaurant, & the hostess was wonderful at working the 6 of us in without a reservation. We excitedly chose many seafood options from the big menu, & were disappointed with each one. My crab legs were flavorless. Too bad. Service & atmosphere- wonderful! Food- I wouldn't return.

My wife and I had two delicious lunches at Vaughan's and a nightcap after visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Fresh and well prepared seafood and meat at a good price. Good selection drink selection, especially for such a rural location lacking heavy year-round demand. Staff and other customers are also very social.

We had a real good quality dinner last night at this pub restaurant. Chowder soup was exceptional, full of fish yet light and not creamy at all, so were the crab meat, oysters and salmon terrine. We enjoyed dinner so much that we went back for lunch today. The menu was traditional and simpler; we had fish & chips and... More

After a beautiful day walking the beach in Lahinch, we were advised to visit Vaughans in Liscannor and what a recommendation is was. The parking situation is a bit chaotic outside but after getting a space, we entered a very quaint bar/ restaurant which opened out into a well decorated and spacious dining area. Our waitress was very efficient and... More
