The windows are not soundproof and you can hear every single sound from the waves crashing to noise from the hotel next door or the guests in the hotel. The hotel authorized people to party until 2 am with musical instruments, shouting and singing… while not caring for guests who want to rest after a long day. Simply unacceptable to me.

We stayed for 3 nights at Augerine and had an amazing time. Family of 4 we had a ground floor room which was clean and spacious. The hotel is right on the beach so perfect location, we were able to use their sun loungers on the beach while we enjoyed the water. A 5 minute walk up the beach brought us to the main promenade of Beau Vallon We stayed half board and cannot fault the food we received. Breakfast was fruit plate followed by eggs of our choice and toast. Dinner was a creole buffet with different options each night, even my fussy 9 year old found something to eat!! Staff in the hotel were so friendly. Would def recommend to others looking a quiet hotel to stay

The hotel is on the beach with spectacular views from the hotel room. You come to the Seychelles to relax and really this is a great place to do it with a five second walk to an incredible beach. All the staff were really kind and friendly. The hotel room has everything you need with a small freezer, safe and air con to cool down. They provide towels too. The shower was totally great with hot water. Breakfast and dinner if you choose it is great. What's not to like?

We had mixed experience with this hotel. We visited the place during corona lockdown times since it is a category 2 hotel. Pro: 1.) The location of the hotel is good since it is directly at the beach. 2.) The stuff is friendly if you ask for any help. Cons: 1.) The owner force you to stay in your room for the first 6 days until you did you PCR Test. They don't allow you to go on the property nor to the sea that is right in front. The seychelles health organization itself states on their website that you need to stay of the hotel property. 2.) Arguing with the owner is very frustrating since she is not able to let you speak to the end. 3.) The food becomes boring. On 9 out of 10 days we received rice. 4.) No room service was done in 10 days. We had to ask for new towels and blankets.

As an Airbnb host, I like to support what I believe are smaller friendly places to stay whilst on holiday, however The Augerine was a big disappointment. The ground floor room we were given smelt damp and was so dark, the shower fell off the wall and when the maintenance man came to fix it, the replacement looked like it had come out of skip, the only bonus was it stayed on the wall and didn’t spray across the room and into the bedroom. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom spewed out water when we arrived, I ended up with 12 towels on the floor to mop up the water in the bedroom, we reported it on day one, we were told not to use it, however it wasn’t sorted until day 4, we mentioned it everyday, wifi was non existent apart from the reception area. No privacy people stroll across your veranda to their rooms, bar was closed by 8pm every night, on our final day we asked for a reduction on our bill, we were so disappointed, at which point the lady at reception lost the plot and told us not to bother paying anything if we felt like that, we tried to reason with her that we weren’t unreasonable people and we were willing to pay something but not the 165eur a day she wanted, we explained our complaints hadn’t been dealt with, sadly she just became more angry and aggressive. I would never stay here again.

This was my second visit and again it was a pleasure to stay with Augerine. Nice location, peaceful, great rooms and great people running the hotel. Not many rooms so the atmosphere is quiet and the service is good.

Good cook for the few guests of the rooms. Really super!!! Perfect location right in front of the beau Vallon beach, best in Mahe

Our first visit to Seychelles partly on business and partly on holiday. Seasoned travellers and knowing Seychelles reputation we hadn't expected such a fantastic hotel as Augerine. Right from booking via email, getting the additional services we required right through arrival 3am, being well taken care of by the gentleman waiting in the reception for us getting into a very nice and large room prepared nicely and just going to bed. Waking up to a beautiful Indian Ocean view, birds singing and even though waking up late getting our breakfast in the most serene sand on the floor restaurant looking at he ocean and just thinking - wow. Throughout the stay (11 days) we were treated professionally and with all the care we could have imagined. A combination of a family run hotel with perfect staffs made the difference. A place to relax and feel at home even though still having the service of a hotel. If you want to eat dinner a fantastic creole style buffet and we had the best dessert ever. Quiet and with two steps to the beach simply just GREAT. Thank you and we will surely see you again next time.

We came here after one week at beautiful Praslin, this became a disaster-ending to our stay at the Seychelles. The breakfast and dinner was included for us, we skipped the dinner at once we came there and saw the dinnertable...bugs everywhere and the chicken and fish were staying out in the warm. UGH. We got refund for the dinner. Ate other places! Breakfast were fine, the lovely lady who served us breakfast did her absolute best, really nice woman. The boss/manager or whatever he were-not nice at all. Rude guy! Talked to us like we were stupid. We had maybe 1 good shower experience the one week we were there, I got my toilet things and walked to the neighbour hotel for shower the other days-my friend stayed there, so I borrowed the shower at his hotel :( The manager/boss did`nt care at all. Bad experience for us at this guest house! Not very clean at the guest house eighter,
