My husband booked the hanneman holiday residence for our honeymoon to Seychelles. It was the perfect place to be at. The host, Manfred is a wonderful man. He is very welcoming and will make sure your entire stay is comfortable. He will also guide you very well about the do’s and dont’s in the area.
The apartments are clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchens are equipped with everything you need to self cater. However, the breakfast is very nice and I would definitely recommend getting the room with breakfast.
The rooms have air conditioning and WiFi is free through the property and the rooms. They have a pool that is open for 24 hours. You can get beach towels from the reception every day and borrow snorkeling supplies too.
We had a very comfortable stay and would love to stay here again if we are visiting Seychelles again.

We were welcome with kindness of Mr Hanneman. The room is spaced, you have everything you might need in the kitchen, the bathroom and in the bedroom. You get to see the beautiful sunset by the balcony (Room 5)! 😍 we were amazed by that view. You get your room key with the gate key, so you can go in and out whenever you want. Even though we stayed there not for long but for sure i will take my family there next time. The beach and other restaurants are nearby, 15 min max. We really enjoyed our stay there. Everyone was nice.

It was our 4th time at Hanneman, and again we were not disappointed. Wonderful spacious self-catering in a hidden and secure area, 5 minutes walking to the beach. Again welcomed by Manfred and Santale who run this place already for ages. The place is really cheap for what you get, some 140m2 I suppose, main area and 2 detached bed rooms. They do also great breakfast at reasonable prices. In case you need anything, they support you, reserve tables at restaurants (e.g. highly recommended Perle Noire) or organise a rental car for some rupees. We will be back again, for sure!

Stayed with my family for a month, kid friendly an amazing environment. Loved the cats. The owner always making sure you are okay, the security guy took his job very seriously well done. Felt safe. The lady at the reception and the cleaning ladies all did a super job. Parking space. 5* Would highly recommend.

A family holiday with my daughters. Lovely spacious clean apartment with air conditioned bedrooms. Helpful friendly staff. A few minutes walk from the beach but pool on site. We self catered and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Were given lovely treat every morning though - banana fritters were delicious. Would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I stayed here in September2015. Generally our experience of this place reflects what the other reviewers have said. Very nice property, excellent facilities etc. However our stay was tarnished by the 'additional person' charge that was levied.
Having fully paid in advance to stay at the resort I was astounded to discover that the fees were for one person only and I had to pay hundreds of dollars extra for my wife!
It really is a bit of a rip-off in this day and age for rooms to be charged on a 'per person' basis, even though, as far as I'm aware there are no 'single' rooms in the accommodation. Having to pay this left a very sour taste in my mouth and any prospective guests should be aware that u do not book a 'room' but u book a 'stay for each person'.
Also I have to say that the dismissive way that the female receptionist dismissed my concerns and protestations along the lines of saying "tough luck it was in the Terms and Conditions, like it or lump it" was, to say the least, 'disappointing'.
I wasn't going to post a review but having been contacted by Hanneman by email to post a review I have decided to do just that.

We spent 6 days in the end of September at Hanneman Holiday Residence and found a nice and comfortable spot to spent a relaxed week!! The small estate is wonderfully located above the Beau Vallon, surrounded by palmes and shadow spending trees and a refreshing pool area! We have been there with our baby (9 months old) and my parents. A baby cot and a baby seat were provided without additional costs. Our maisonette was beautifully furnished, very clean and tidy, with a huge open kitchen in the living room and a comfortable balcony with deck chairs, a cosy seating area and a dining table. The direct view on the sea is blocked by many trees and the hotel complex "Savoy", which we didn't find too disturbing as we have never seen the place without the Savoy. The owners of Hanneman's also organized free passage through the Savoy Hotel for their guests which made the walk to the beach aprox 5min long.
The bedrooms were spacious and tastefully furnished with a nice bathroom each. The airconditioning was the best we had on all the three islands we visited, very wuiet and well-working.The kitchen itself was extraordinarily well equipped. An occuring problem with the fridge was instantly solved and the fridge was replaced within hours. We hadn't booked breakfast, but were given a starter package containing milk, joghurt, some cheese, eggs, jam and bread which was somewhat convenient! We were also given fresh banana cake or pancakes every morning to enrich our own breakfast. Great service! We also loved the banana trunk in front of the apartments where you could always serve yourself with fresh and sweet-tasting bananas. What a wonderful idea!
The Manager and the rest of the staff were very kind and always happy to help out with organising car hire or daily tours and gave a ot of advice about the most beautiful bays, daily tours, walks, local restaurants and beaches or other sights to see in the area. They always made sure we felt relaxed during our holiday. We were even offered a lift home from the grocery store in case we were buying heavy items.
It may not be the cheapest place to stay on Mahe for self caterers, but it's hard to find better value for your money! We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Manfred and Hubert and staff are what I can only say are a credit to industry they are in having stayed in 5 star resorts around the wotld on both buisness and in pleasure, this was a truly fantastic residence to stay and puts a lot of the so called 5 star hotels I have stayed in, to shame.
The accomadation was truly magnificent,clean, spacious,modern and with good decor.
Fresh bananas for the kids to eat ,fesh hot pancakes in the morning a true credit to Seychelles life.
The pool clean no chemicals kids loved it.
I cannot recommend this Residence enough I would now not stay anywere else on the Island of Mahe

The place was very welcoming from the start. You do not need to worry, as the owner says "you worry too much, everything is possible". I will take this experience through life and hope to meet the residence's staff again. We are glad we met such people in beautiful Seychelles.
Make sure you go for the BBQ dinner; cannot be beat on Mahe, Praslin, La Digue and Silhouette.

Die Baustelle befindet sich auf der rechten Seite der Holiday Residence auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Wir fühlten uns jedoch in keinster Weise weder durch Baulärm noch andere Aktivitäten von da gestört. Als wir im Oktober 2017 bei Hanneman's zu Gast waren, diente der Platz eher als Lager und Sammelplatz für die Baustelle die sich weiter oben und außerhalb der Sicht und Hörweite der Holiday Residence befindet. Wir hatten also keinerlei negative Erfahrungen!
