Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I really loved the way Vesna did my check in. She explained to me everything about the area, where to get the best food, cocktails at sunset, to do shopping, the best place to go on hiking etc etc really useful tips, she cared! As I was travelling solo I’ve booked the cheapest room they had (with a sea view though) and it had everything I needed. The bed was super confortable, it was super clean and they even put an aircon recently. The room itself needs some renewing but it has everything you need. If you need some more confort or recent furniture you should just book a superior room. The only negative point it was the noise coming from the street and the light getting in since the sunrise. But you can manage that with some earplugs and a sleep mask :) Thank you for your hospitality Vesna :)

Where is the best beach in Seychelles? The answer is all. So you might as well stay in Beau Vallon. Now where to stay in Beau Vallon? Here at Panorama Guesthouse. Why? Okay, so let me begin my story. So we start as we all start, where to stay in Seychelles. Beau Vallon looked the most appealing because of it's long stretch of beach, many restaurants, nearby diving and located more or less near the center of Mahe. We thought of where to book and we came across this place, which was perfect. You just have to cross the road and you reach the beach. Which was very convenient because we would walk back and forth for our stuff. Then it's located near La Dolce Vita, for great breakfasts, Mike's Store for essentials (Hi Mike!) and Beach Shak for late night drinking with the most amazing cocktails and I hate cocktails. On Beau Vallon itself we ate at Mahek Restaurant at the Coral Strand Hotel. We also ate at the Coral Asia Sushi restaurant at the same hotel. Both tops! So bottomline is, Panorama is the best place to stay at. Great location, great price, great hosts.

The guest house is located in great location just next to the a very good beach on Mahe Island. When we booked, Mary arranged for a us a pick-up at the airport (about 15-20 minutes away) for an additional 50 Euro (quite expensive even by Seychelles standards). There is no restaurant but it is next a a variety of restaurants and a boulevard that comes alive in the evening with street food. There is no AC but rooms have fans (which don't do enough against the heat). It feels quite private (there are about 10 rooms in total), The owners live there as well but pretty much stayed out of our way. There are no activities available, no TV in the rooms (there's one in the shared lounge), no internet (but you could purchase tokens). On the whole, it's a good and private place to stay for the nights and to launch daily excursions to explore.

We booked this Guesthouse knowing it had no wifi, air conditioning, TV. For 99€ we think it doesn't have proper quality and price relation. Only one plug in the room. The lady owner was very nice and gave us good advice about dinner market on Wednesdays.

Fans in room, no fridge, no TV, no Wifi, but a genuine nice and relaxed atmosphere. Close to town, beach, restaurants etc. This is a wind down place, dont let comments guide you, cheap and cheerful. Budget and great BB...

Just across the Beau Vallon beach (not even a minute's walk), the location is perfect. Sheila was very cordial and took care of all my needs well. However, if you plan to stay in the hotel during afternoon, get an AC room. It can get quite hot.

The guest House was clean and basic but coming from the UK in March at 3 degrees C to 33 degrees with no air con is brutal. The Breakfast was basic with fruit, cereal toast and with eggs available according to the whims of the hens living out the back. Why do this couple charge 50 rupees for a bottle of water or a beer that costs far less in a local shop? And watch your feet for dog eggs

Stay away!!!! Can't believe Mary charges cancellation fees when they cannot even accommodate business credit cards!! Also wants to charge a late arrival fee. Seriously... on an island with so many amazing competing hotels, I don't get how they are still open

Rather basic accommodation in what is almost a family home as the bar/lounge doubles as the family's room. They are generally friendly. Differing standards of room depending on whether you get a refurbished one or not.No air con but fans in the room. Some have fridges but not all. Erratic electrics and only one socket in our room. Shower similarly rather erratic but yes it is well located over looking the gorgeous Beau Vallon beach and is very clean - except for the three dogs in the garden. Watch your step ! I guess it is budget accommodation in a good location. You get what you pay for.

You will read some pretty nasty reviews about this place. Those reviews are completely unfair. This is a very decent guest house. It's clean and the owners are lovely and very helpful and hospitable. It's not the Ritz. So if you must have aircon, a chef cooked breakfast and free wifi then go somewhere else. If you want a clean, comfortable no frills room in a good location then this is the place. We liked it a lot.
