During the first independent Estonia, grain and other stock was kept in outbuildings. In summer, girls who were employed as summer workers slept in one of the outbuildings. We offer the visitors of Aadu Tourist Farm the opportunity to recollect the romance of those who bundled at that time. The chambers are furnished according to those old times, but vitally important things like showers, toilets, and of course windows have been built in the outbuildings. The outbuilding is 34 m long, in one of its ends the kitchen and a dining room with a fireplace (56 m2) are located; in the other end there is a living room with a kitchen corner (22 m2), a toilet and a shower room downstairs, two bedrooms, one with a balcony, upstairs; in the centre of the building there are three chambers with separate entrances. It is possible to accommodate 16 people in five rooms. Mostly wood and natural stones are used as building materials in the house, old log walls have been tried to preserve in the chambers. Aadu Tourist Farm is located in a juniper field near the sea at the end of Vatta peninsula, Saaremaa. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded and quaint place where to have a rest from noisy city life, to wake up and hear birds singing in the morning, to enjoy wonderful summer of Saaremaa with your friends - this is exactly the right place. Our guests spend their time sitting near fire, swinging on a village swing, in the sauna, playing sport games, walking near the sea, sunbathing, swimming in the sea, cycling or hiking, visiting the sights and visiting entertainments in Kuressaare (only 17 km from our farm) or discovering Saaremaa. There is a sand pit with a play house and small swing for children.

Aadu Talu was the highlight of our very good road trip through the Baltics. We stayed two nights and wished we could've remained longer. Our room in the barn was rustic, well-decorated, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had heated floors. The shared dining area was lovely. The grounds are meticulously tended, full of flowers and apple trees, and perfect for a walk. We found out there isn't much of a shoulder season in the Baltics. We visited Saaremaa during the first week of September, and all the tourists were already gone. We were the only guests, and they still pulled out all the stops to create our best breakfast of our trip, including little bouquets on the serving dishes.

Nature of the interior is suitable for the location. Excellent service, clean, spacious. Favorite place of privacy lover's, as well as for families with small children and for elderly vacationers. All amenities are guaranteed.

If you want a place away from city, noises, pollution, this is the place to come. I enjoyed every second of my staying. Authentic rural place- interior, exterior, details- everything. Willage 1 km away looked like Shire from LOTR. :D

We were three nights in the bed-and-breakfast part of the farm. Additionally they have one villa and one bigger apartment. We were two couples and both of the rooms we had were decorated old countryside style and the rooms had newly built private bathrooms with shower. Pictures on the web site are very accurate and the atmosphere in the place is peaceful and relaxed. Breakfast was very good - comparable with tourist hotels. Self made apple juice with coulds was our favorite :) Sauna was very good even when the oven (kiuas) was placed a bit too high (we Finns are rather strict with saunas). Finding the place required a bit patience but road was good even when the last kilometer is sand road. Distance to the city (Kuresaare) is around 20 minutes by car. Only negative element is that the walls between the rooms are not very thick and sounds from neighbour room can be heard. For us that was a minor issue as we come late and left early all the days. Sea shore is near but the water is too shallow for swimming. However there are swimming beaches all around Saarenmaa. We had three busy days in Saarenmaa - it was absolutely worth visiting. Rgds, Jukka P.
