The studio they gave us was too small for people with a baby, I guess because, after all, they let us stay with a dog when we communicated by email. However, the woman who welcomed us, did not know we were with a dog ...Either way, we were allowed to stay with a dog because we've stayed before. But they told us that they no longer allow guests with dogs.. The baby could not sleep well because our studio was very inappropriately chosen for people with a small child - just above the main entrance of the building and infront of the the internal staircase. So we heard every group of people who were coming back or going out even at 01:00 in the night. The whole building is made of marble and everything was heard like in the opera. It is necessary to secure the steps of the staircase because they are slippery and I had an incident with my child as I fell after we were back from the beach I got rid of only а bruise... We where guests there two years ago and every good impression we had is gone.

Dionisos apartments are nice, clean and convenient place for a restful vacation. For a reasonable price, one gets an apartment with a kitchenette and a balcony that is spacious enough and provides comfortable space for coffee or home-made meals with a sea view. The location of this venue is fantastic - only 200 meters or less from the beach, at the very periphery of the village which makes it one of the quietest buildings. The stuff was exceptionally friendly which is rarely a case in the busiest time of the season. The wi-fi and the air-conditioning were excellent. The building itself was clean despite the fact that it was full of guests. The only disadvantage was that one could hear sounds from the other rooms and corridors, but that I guess is unavoidable in the peak of the season. We had unexpectedly great rest there and would recommend to all friends who have a hard time finding such a warm, cozy and pleasant place.

This July we spend 14 beautiful days in Akti apartments. Apartments are spacious, well equiped, with great, big terase which has fantastic view. You have a shower outdoors, place in building for beach necessaries, parking in front or beneath the building. The staff is fantastic! They are warm, always in a good mood, every day at disposal, speak English,Russian,Serbian,Italian. The beach is just few steps from your terase. There are nice palm trees on the beach that gives you whole day shade. The beach is sandy, first few meters there are small rocks, but clever Greece put sandy bags so that you can walk that part on that bags😃, and after that everything is sandy. It's not too shallow. There is a big part with normal dept so you can spend a lot of time playing with your kids. Dionisios is very peacefull place. But you have everything you need for nice vacation. Great promenade, unbelievably good pastry-shop, few markets, farmacy, few restorans. Few minutes by car you can find Lidl,Masutis, Galaxis,Jumbo if you like big shoppings. Nea Mouidania beach is maybe the best beach I've ever been in Greece and is also 5 minutes drive. The town is cheap and great for evening promenade. Important thing to say, you'll never have a problem with parking! We spend really great time and do think to come again.

We were on a short break in August in Dionysos apartments. The place is very nice. The beach is minutes away from the studio where we were staying. From the terrace we had a wonderful view of the sea. Special thanks to Alexandra, who was very responsive and positive. We will visit again this quiet and clean place to rest.

Great apartments, very clean, well equiped. Beach is very close and management, especially Aleksandra was great. Within walking distance some restaurants and beach bar with sunbeds which served great refreshments.

Thank you, Kiki and Michael for the excellent conditions and your kindness and hospitality! Although I was very circumspect at the beginning about the location, Paralia Dyonisiou, because I couldnt find many descriptions or reviews and I had a lot of emails with the owners, regarding the location, ammenities and so and so, we felt incredible in Dionisos Apartments! We had the apartment 109 , a big apartment with a separate bedroom, a living/ dining room with inclosed chicinette and a single bed and a table, with all you need for something to cook or prepare a coffee or a tea, a not so large but cozy bathroom and a beautiful balcony with table and chairs and an amazing sea-view!. The building is elegant, very well located, at the end of the village, so its quite. The beach is steps away- and I mean it- 1 minute to get to the beach bar in front of the tavern Aggelos, where I spend all my 10 days :) Sunbeds and umbrellas are for free , you must have something, like a frappe or a Eraclea Chocolate- i Highly reccomand!- and you can enjoy the water and the sun all day. The beach are sandy, the water amazing, in the water they are alternating small rocks and sand, but ts not disturbing. I must again thank Kiki and Michael. They dont behave like landlords, but like owners, who are carrying aout their guests. We had some health problems and they were amazingly supporting. Thank you again, dear Kiki and Michael. I wil recommand this location to all my friends and my readers and yes, we will be back:))!!!

Response from Dionisiou, Owner at Dionisos Apartments
Responded 5 May 2016
Dear Dusco, Dionisos 2 Complex is not our building. Our Dionisos Apartment Building is located at the end of the village (towards Moudania), on the last street and is only 80 m to the beach. Where you stayed, it is another building. Come to us next summer and compare!

just a couple of steps from the beach - much closer than in many large beach hotels where it would take you quite a while to get from your building/bungalow to the beach (and back if your kid forgot a toy or a cap). quiet place, but has some socializing facilities (space, tables, games) in the yard. the apartments are very small though. We had three of them: 301 had two rooms but only one has aircond. therefore those who slept in the cool room had to pile over all available blankets and leave the door open, just to let the other room cool down enough. 302 is more or less OK, while in 303 two of us were continuously bumping on each other, stumbling over the bags, shoes etc. In all rooms bathrooms are not just small, but tiny - that type where a swing of the door is sure to sweep away whoever is already in. kitchenettes are also too small and rather modestly equipped. we didn't bother much about cooking, but if you count on eating in and cooking for your family, prepare to struggle. Speaking about catering, we (3 families) found eating out in Dionisiou Paralia rather disappointing. that unless you are happy to eat very simple meals every day of your holidays and wash them down with really dull house wine (almost none of eateries offer bottled wine). So we lunched in Aggelos beach restaurant, but normally went to Erodios restaurant in Nea Moudania for dinner. Much better fair for approximately the same money. I would warn everyone about dining at Miramar. both our attempts resulted in waiting grotesque amount of time even for the drinks to be brought. having completed the meal we also realized that the bill needed to be carefully verified. Back to the appartments now .... as a compensation for small inner space, the balconies are ample enough to room the family for a meal. those in 302 and 303 offer a nice tangent view to the sea and the port. another slight annoyance is the self-locking doors. For absent-minded guests that means regular trips to the office, where you are sure to get assisted unless you come outside office hours (that includes 2PM to 6 PM). Sandra, an officer-on-duty, is normally quite helpful. Never mind that sometimes the expression on her face hinges on the verge of annoyance, she is quite a cordial person - one can clearly see it when she speaks to fellow Greek people. bottom line - recommended for well-organized families with kids who prefer eating out and enjoy simple food.

We stayed in Dionisos apartments building number 4. The location is great - not more 100 meters to the beach. In general the apartment was a compromise for our taste. Minuses - too small for 4 persons family. The weather was too hot and the air condition was not enough to cool 2 rooms, although it worked 4 days and nights at 16 degrees. After the first night I though that the owner will find us overheated and death ... Kitchen - small fridge, but working good. 2 hot plates, no oven, but enough plates, pans, glasses...just in case you need. Beds - comfortable with clean bed linen and towers. The beach was not as expected....just was too dirty. The village is small, but there are enough places to eat for dinner or just have a drink. You must visit the Giros restaurant and patisserie in the center.
