Karpathos and Aegean Village & Bungalows in Ammopi is a gem in the Aegean archipelago. The island was very beautiful, the people very kind and the food excellent. Everyone were as well child friendly. If you like sunrises, then you should most certainly book our room 405, the most stunning and breathtaking sunrise we have ever seen. We stayed at... More

Only good thing is view. Service is very bad. They smile but nothing happens :-( Cleaning guality is very bad and still one room takes 1,5 hours! If you want to eat good food so do not eat at hotel. Go example to Four Season :-)

Thank you for your comments! Undoubtedly you were not satisfied of your stay here with us but let us educate you a bit and inform you that check in time is between 12:00 to 15:00 and when your flight is here at 11:00 and the room is still occupied until 12:00 IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT!!!... After many times we spent our holidays in Karpathos, the Aegean is always our "home"! The staff are usual very kind and friendly, the rooms, the garden, the hall and the other structures are in perfect condition and continuosly maintained. But the seaview from all rooms on the Ammopi bay is priceless! That's enough to fly to Karpathos.

Our stay was above expectations and we really enjoyed the country/weather/people/hotel/service that was provided during our stay. I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future and I have to say that the lamp rack in the restaurant really goes beyond expectations. Well done!

We really enjoyed to stay at the Aegean Village for one week. The hotel was extremely pleasant, very clean and with a wonderful view to Ammopi Bay. The staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant. served delicious food. The location was perfect. It took only 15 minutes from the airport. Hotel was located in Ammopi, witch is quite quiet location. Perfect for couples and dreamers or why not families with children- there are beautiful little beaches to explore. Hotel was very tastefully decorated. I definitely fell in love with the place.

So nice to stay at Aegean Village a whole week. Located close to small beaches and pleasant bars and tavernas and with a wonderful view of the Aegean horizon. Lovely staff, excellent service, nice rooms, tasty drinks and the most tasteful lamb-rack ever ! We definitely want to come back !
