We arrived early, but that didn't matter. The reception staff were very welcoming and really made a point of welcoming the children. They were given a baseball cap each, which they never took off. The room was lovely..the bed was so big. We stayed for 2 nights and booked the Gentle Giant Experience. Our guide Tracey was amazing...she knew her...

Wow! We slept in a chalet that looked over a pool where hippo's lived. We could see them walk around from our balkony. Just like wildebeesten and other amazing animals. Really magical. The chalets where amazing too. Small but so cute and neat. We spent 2 nights there. A must do! We went on 3 game drives and every single...

I was recommended the GRGL by a friend from the South Africa travel industry and through communications found that this was the venue where i wanted to also get engaged. Nice place, perfect for the kids. Great pool and sun deck, friendly staff, the food is very good. We stayed for two nights and had four safaris (2hrs). The perfect first safari experience for our kids, aged 3 and 8. The close encounter with the elephants was great. The two hour safaris are just perfect for the kids and their...

room had stunning views, cute chalets well equipped. the food was really nice and they serve the braai upon request even it was a buffet. Service was really good. Safari was a "park"- feeling but still good viewing for first comers in South Africa. The reptile visit was a good experience to end with with knowledgeable guides.

Mu husband and I had an amazing time at this safari. We stayed in one of the luxury suites which was very new, modern and clean, complete with a balcony facing the reserve where we were greeting with giraffes playing upon our arrival. I cannot say enough good things about this place, our ranger Hannes was the best, extremely knowledgeable,...

On the drive between Port Elizabeth and Capetown we stayed two nights at the Lodge and enjoyed it very much. The morning and evening game drivers were wonderful and our guide Hannas was excellent - and the wild life seen together with the wonderful knowledge of the guide made the trips memorable. The food was buffet - but with fresh...

We spent 2 nights in the lodge and found it amazing! Nice and clean room, nice small pool...a bit infested by screamy kids, but still ok. Animals experience was very nice, we also fed elephants!!! Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. I would only suggest to create a separate kids area, any other was great!
