Having pre booked the holiday we were looking forward to a nice break, and sitting round the pool for a fortnight, having not had a holiday for nearly 2 yrs. When we arrived we were told that due to covid the swimming pool was out of action, what covid has got to do with it i dont know,as my son was staying just down the road and his swimming pool was up and working with no problems at all.I believe its just an excuse to save money, after complaining to staff that one of the resons we booked the hotel was because of the lovely pool yhey had,I was met with a very arrogant reply of ,that its on the website the pool was closed,I tried to reply that it wasnt on the website i booked it with but she wouldnt listen, there is even an A board outside the hotel now we noticed as we left with a picture of the lovely pool advertised. The girl then went on to tell us there was also no breakfast due to covid, again what has covid got to do with anything, all the cafes and restaurants are all coping quite well, just another cost saving for the hotel saving on staff and food.We were then showed to our room or cupboard as i thought it was, we had a look round and said could we have something a little bigger and with a balcoy, as the balcony for this room was the public walkway that people used to get to their rooms. We were then showed to another shoebox room which you could tell was a large room at one time with a large balcony, but they had split into 2 tiny rooms obviously to double the takings. We accepted the room after deciding it was better than the first room and was the best that was on offer, obviously it cost us more. The balcony which was a nice size before they decided to split in half was just big enough for a tiny table and 2 plastic chairs at a push which you had to move about to enable access back into the room.Really old decorations and wall lights which were really dated. The bathroom was a joke, it was once just a shower room but when they had cut the original room in 2 they needed to fit in a toilet and basin so they put it all in thisroom including a tiny shoer base that you couldnt turn round in, complete with wrap around shower curtain tied to ceiling with string, which wasnt even long enough to stay inside shower base, so every time you got a shower the whole place was flooded, the smells from the toilt and drains were disgusting, aven after the room was supposedly cleaned,in the end we purchased our own cleaning materials and bleach to make the place smell a bit more pleasant. The air conditioning was also a joke,it was cooler on the balcony and quieter. The fridge must have been 50 years old, I put some water in the ice cube maker on our first day and it was still half water on the day we left(14days later).Complaints fell on deaf ears, overall disgusted that what looks like a nice hotel turned out to be a dump with awful staff , wouldnt recommend this place to look after animals , BE WARNED

A week before our visit the hotel mentioned that, due to covid 19, they would not serve breakfast and the pool would not be available ( not a drop of water inside the pool). There's no order from the Greek state that the pools need to be closed. Many hotels have them opened, but guests have to keep social distance. Rooms were tiny, we were the only 4 guests in the hotel ( and I think the first since the covid outbreak). No room upgrade was offered, we had 2 small rooms, with astonishing old equipment, old bed, horrible shower. Refrigerator was from the 70's, same for the airco. Airconditioning hardly worked was so noisy, like the fridge, that we unplugged both during the night. Safe in room was locked, no way to operate it. We decided to move to another hotel. Mentioned this to the receptionist. 2 days later they accused us of some stains at the bedside table and that they found our cigarette under the bed. We will be charged for 300 euros. Ok, my kids don't smoke, my wife never smoked and I have quit smoking 2 years ago. So, I mentioned this to the lady, that it cannot be from us, because we DO NOT SMOKE. We went by today to ask her if she could take back the accusation. She didn't want to do it,as she still believes we made the damage. I insisted that she would put in writing that I will not be charged 300 on my credit card for something we didn't do. I strongly believe that this hotel is trying this trick with several of their guests. I sincerely hope , that the next guests will not be fooled by them. The best advice: AVOID THIS HOTEL, enjoy the view from outside, do not go in. There's plenty of BETTER accommodation nearby.

Right on port. Close to bars, restaurants bus stops etc. Pool is lovely but lacks atmosphere. When we booked a year earlier Tui brochure said there was pool bar. Well there was but it’s not currently open. We stayed in room 409 for the first 4 nights - which is up two flights of stairs and had lovely view of Skopelos town side view. We asked for a change of room to be at front of hotel and then stayed in 105 for the rest of our fortnight break - had to pay a premium but was worth it to watch the world go by from the balcony. (Note there are only two rooms on front with a view as palm trees in way). Breakfast is Greek basic but fine although there’s no toaster. No tea and coffee facilities in room so take kettle if you want a cuppa. All rooms have fridges. Very clean hotel and staff work really hard. Plenty of clean towels etc. Typically Greek 2* no complaints other than lack of atmosphere. First and third pics are views from room 409. Second pic outside breakfast area. Fourth pic view from balcony room 105.

This hotel is a perfect base for exploring the island. It's clean, practical and pretty. The hotel sits right on the main street in Skopelos and is still a peaceful place. The pool area is clean and quiet, perfect for couples. Although, down side is that there is no pool bar for lunch. But plenty of cafes just outside your door. Also, the mosquitos are rife around the pool area so be careful. I was a little disappointed with the maid service as they would refold dirty towels, refuse to give clean glasses and would turn the air on off during the day and open the balcony doors (which let in the heat and bugs - not ideal after a day on the hot beach). Breakfast is very basic but does the job. Lovely coffee! The rooms are slightly dated but always clean. I would recommend a room overlooking the pool or garden as it's more quiet and you have a private balcony! All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. Its exactly what we hoped and more! Would return.

The staff were rude and we were thrown out the pool at 7:40 when it closes at 8 or 9 (not too sure as it kept changing). Staff receptionist lady (reddish, brownish hair) was very rude and not nice as for the young man at reception was lovely and told us about the times of closing and told us 20mins before so we could get ready to go. As advertised it says there’s a pool bar, well where is the bar tender I hear you ask? I don’t know because the bar was closed and not even any signs to tell us why. Rooms were small and hard to open balcony door. Wasn’t satisfied and defo won’t come again.

I stayed here with friends and family who were also staying in Skopelos. The location of the hotel is good. Right across from the Ferry Port. On arriving I was disappointed at the size of the room. It was really cramped and there wasn’t a great view from the balcony. I’m am on a gluten free diet due to medical reasons so all I could eat at breakfast was fruit. I took my own bread but was advised that there was no toaster so couldn’t have it. The pool area was nice and clean but lacked atmosphere. The pool bar as advertised was closed and when this was mentioned to the rep he said that it had been raised with the hotel. Drinks were available by walking round to reception but obviously not ideal. The pool opening times changed for 9am to 9pm to 10am to 8pm and the staff were waiting to put us out from 7.40 pacing until we left and one female member of staff asked us to move the loungers back to where they were! She was very rude on more than one occasion. Not what you want when spending a lot of money on a holiday. Overall I Wouldn't go back.

We have been to Skopelos several times now and stopped at several different hotels. This place has its good and not so good points. The obvious good point is its location for the town as you are almost on the harbour. As a result the majority of restaurants and tavernas and the bus service are within easy walking distance, unless you want to go up into the high town area. The transfer from the ferry is only 200 metres. It has a friendly set of staff who work very hard all day. The room we had was clean and recently re-furbished with good free air conditioning so no problem there. Towels changed every day bar Sundays. The breakfast was your usual basic Greek grub of cereals, cheese ham, salad, yogurt and honey and a few biscuits/cake. The coffee was good as well. It is a strange hotel as it reminds me of a large dolls house around the courtyard area. Very pretty with well kept gardens .The pool is large and clean and sunbeds were easily available any time of day. The only negative is that some rooms are with shared balconies but as we were with TUI for two weeks I suspect these rooms would be for short stay guests. Would I go back. definitely, but don't expect 4 star, it is a basic typical Greek style hotel but in the right place, especially if you have walking difficulties.

Very close to the port and close proximity to town, restaurants and public transportation. Very friendly staff and amazing atmosphere and hospitality. The hotel complex is very clean and neat with well maintained gardens and large clean pool. The rooms are exceptionally well maintained and very clean, the only disadvantage was the shower basin, as it's too small and the curtain is not suitable therefore you have a wet floor bathroom. The ac TV and fridge are all in very good working condition with a hairdryer. This well maintained complex is comfortable and makes many other higher rated hotels look silly. You will enjoy a nice environment and snle to move and explore the island with ease. Enjoy

The rooms are on the small size and the bathroom is even smaller. It was a struggle to open the wardrobe door as the bed was in the way. The breakfast was very poor. No toaster and if you wanted a cup of tea then you boil a kettle yourself. The location is fairly good, near to the harbour, shops and restaurants. There is no parking available, which may be a problem in the height of the season. There is free air-con and a fridge in the room though.

We stayed end Aug/ beginning Sept 2018. PROS:good location for bus station/taxis, harbour, restaurants. Grocery shop across rd. Staff welcoming and helpful within their powers. Communal areas relaxing ie beautiful garden and relaxing pool area. CONS: Do not believe facilities advertised. Honestly didn't expect 4/5 stars but this is just about a 2 star hotel. Note there are no lifts. Even getting to reception involves stairs. There are no tea and coffee facilities in rooms. There is no staffed pool bar area. You have to go into reception, ask receptionist (when they can leave reception) to get you a drink at small hotel bar- very basically stocked. No official hotel laundry facilities and no official safety deposit box facility. The lovely staff helped us out here out of good will. There is no gym, no room service to your room or balcony. Continental breakfast is only very basic. ROOM FACILITIES: PROS: air conditioning, fridge, towels/sheets changed daily, private balcony. CONS: Our room looked out onto street. We were subjected to loud revving of motorbikes in the evenings. Not the fault of the hotel. Suggest get room overlooking pool or garden. But be aware a lot of these rooms appeared to share balcony. Room decor outdated- reckon circa early 1990's. Pink walls cracked. General maintenance required. Bathroom small and poor. Literally shower tray on floor with shower curtain surrounding it which got stuck and was too short. Bathroom flooded everytime you showered. Shower fixed half way up wall. Nowhere to hang shower head. No fire regulations in English if at all. No smoke/ fire detectors in rooms. (Tui very poor!) Not all rooms same so check you get one refurbished if possible. Buses good value at a few euros. Would we go to island again. Yes as beautiful. Would we go to Dolphin again No! TUI stop booking holidays here until all above sorted!
