This was our last B&B of 4 during our cycling holiday and it was by far my favourite. Lovely welcoming hostess; beautiful quaint surroundings; tasteful, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of extra little touches and delicious plentiful breakfast. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this amazing B&B, with a beautiful garden, excellent rooms and a very welcoming host. We have stayed at Skomakargarden several times and have always been pleasantly surprised. Very clean rooms and breakfast is included. Worth a visit all year around!

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Maria the proprietor met us and took us to a lovely room. Very clean and very pretty. It has a lovely cottage garden. Breakfast was superb the best we have had in Sweden. They obviously took great pride in their bed and breakfast and it showed. The town was very pretty with a beautiful lake and... More

Stayed upstairs in a loft room that was very comfortable with great bathroom. The garden was beautiful filled with summer flowers and lots of places to sit. The host was very welcoming, our bikes were safely stored up the back, breakfast was no problem and plenty to serve ourselves at a time convenient to us. A great stay.

My relatives use to stay there - we recommend! Beautiful garden and close to everything in Mariefred! Small romantic place! One of the best hotels in Sörmland. They will come back as soon as there will be new get together meetings in Mariefred.

We are a family of 4 and booked two rooms at Skomkargardens at the end of September. It was recommended to us as part of a cycling holiday with Nordic Tours. (Note that the Trip Advisor name is misspelt so hopefully they will correct it). It is in the town of Mariefred and the front entrance is in a little... More

Mariefred is a nice little town on the shores of Lake Malaren with a stunning castle/palace, and Skomakergarden is a lovely little B&B. Situated at the bottom of the owners garden there are two garden rooms (we stayed in one of those) and two rooms in the loft space of the building that faces onto the street. I see references... Very friendly people and such a cosy b&b. Great breakfast with everything you need. You see the hand for details in decoration. Only thing..you hear your neighbour breathing. Located in the middle of mariefred, parking easy.

if you go to Mariefred, this is where to stay. As we came to the guest house, we where so nicely welcomed, and the room was excelent. A small privately owned place, with some few rooms, warm and nice. Mariefred is a very small town, so the Bed and Breakfast is only a few minutes from "it all". The breakfast... More

In the centre of Mariefred, the little gem located at the lake Mälaren, you find this amazing B&B. The charming couple running it have transformed their home from the 18th century to an extraordinary B&B. The rooms are located in small redpainted huoses in one end of the garden and the rooms give you the impression that you are staying... More
