Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Overpriced for what it is. Okay the views are lovely but the toilets and showers are so old and for being the first weekend it was open were absolutely filthy - dust and cobwebs everywhere. This used to be such a busy site but the new owners seem to be running it into the ground for some reason. It says it all when Easter Weekend and there's only 4 tourers and 4 cars at the statics.

Lovely site. We stayed here for 2 nights in a tent while travelling around the moray coast. It was £25 per night which was on the higher end of our budget but didn’t mind paying it for the views in the campsite which looked out into the beach/water. We had dinner at the pub at the entrance of the campsite which was really good and had lovely staff. The facilities were fine, but not much room to get ready in the morning. We would definitely come back in the future for a couple of nights again and recommend it to anyone travelling in the area.

Plus points- Great location in a beautiful village. Caravan enough for our needs but could do with being updated. Great pub 2 mind away with friendly locals, and some great walks if you get the weather. Not so good points- Email said check in from 12pm..which we tried, only to be turned away till 3pm,then handed a card which states check in 12pm ( don't ask),lack of towels so bring your own,no iron so bring your own, washing machine £3 a go,but no dryer,no facilities to dry outside either on our plot so had to buy an airer. You have to contact reception to get key to access the building with machine, not ideal if like me your an early riser and want it out of the way. Pub closes early on a Monday,6pm,so prepare with supplies. Would go back as it's such a lovely area, but definitely need the weather for it.

Booked a static caravan with view of the sea as I was going for a photography trip. Arrived at the site and got the keys to caravan 6 with the sea view. My wife opened the caravan as I was getting ready to bring our cases in. She told me not to bother the place was filthy and she would not be staying there. I went in and was astonished at just how old and filthy this static was. There were tie wraps locking the windows shut, the place stank of damp and the appliances were clearly past there sell by date and filthy. Ever the taps were filthy. No toilet roll, no towels, the bedding was filthy. Luckily I managed to get another place nearby in Cullen which was £100 more than I had paid for this absolute pit. It was a 4 bedroom house at the top of the cliffs with stunning views and was immaculate throughout. The owners of the the caravan park should be ashamed of what they are offering at the price point they have. This site would benefit from a professional hygiene and H&S inspection. Dropped the keys in the collection point and left. For those with their own accommodation the sit would be great. The site owners should be ashamed.

We stayed for a week at this site with friends. We were in our camper van and they were in their motorhome. Lovely setting and views although weather was very windy and wet. Village is lovely but a coffee shop near the harbour would be a bonus.

Top stars for location and views say it all. We stayed at this site for 2 nights, in our Motorhome, while doing the Speyside way. We booked via telephone, choosing our pitch in advance, then on arrival, checked in at the small reception window. The pitches are hardstanding but quite small and you drive over grass to the pitch, no problem for our 6m van. The views from the pitch out sea are stunning. The toilet blocks are fine, a bit dated but okay. There is a dish wash sink in each toilet, so you can choose who does the dishes. There is a lovely pub at the site entrance where we went for a meal. There are great coastal walks from the site.We would love to return and spend more time in this area.

This was fantastic wee site which sadly has gone downhill since new management took over. Hard to get hold of, poor communication, Customer service and not easy to book. Prices expensive for what it is and Seems too much money to be made in the other properties they own within the village :(

Had a booking which my wife and I were both looking forward to. Unfortunately I tested positive for Covid the day before we were due to arrive so did the right thing and contacted the site to say. Straight away I got a message saying "sorry you got covid, you'll lose your deposit", it's not like they were busy as on the booking call I was told I could stay longer if I wanted as there is nobody booked after me, so clearly had very few bookings as it was early in the year. So they haven't turned people away because I was booked in, they have lost nothing. I replied asking if I could save my deposit for a booking at a later date but this request was ignored completely, not acceptable customer service. Money is tight for everyone at the moment and for someone to keep £125 of our hard earned cash due to something that is beyond my control is shocking. I know its this establishments "policy" to keep deposits if people can't make it for one reason or another but I honestly can't believe they didn't offer or reply when I requested moving it to another date. Clearly this isn't a review of the site as we never got there, but a review of the way customers are treated. Sadly I will never consider booking at this place again as I don't appreciate being ignored and my money being taken off me. This visit was to see what the site was like as we have a family event near by in August and we were going g to try to book for that, there would have been about 20 people looking to book multiple statics for 1 week, clearly that won't be happening now, and we will find somewhere else.

We have just returned from a week's stay at this caravan park. The situation of it couldn't be better. We asked for a pitch right at the front, the views are phenomenal. There is hard standing which drains well after torrential rain, which we got one day! The wash/toilet facilities are adequate but dated, however they are warm. There is a washing machine in the wash block, and dishwashing facilities in both ladies and gents. You need a torch at night as not all the outside lamps and light fittings work, you could very easily have a trip and fall. There are washing lines for everyone to use. There is a pub which does meals at the entrance of the site. It's ok, nothing special, it's due a change of management on Monday 4th October. There is a village shop which is well stocked for essentials, and has a fridge for wine and beers.Lots to see and do in the surrounding area.

This a lovely setting, with adequate facilities, spoiled by poor communications & lack of reception service. Booking proved difficult/unresponsive. No one available, on arrival @ 16.30 ( during office hours ) inspite of receiving a phone call 30 mins earlier "were we still coming"? Same again at check out. No one available to finalise bill/hand back key, despite receiving a phone message"to remind of the outstanding amount", 60 mins earlier. Experience spoiled an otherwise lovely location.
