Out of all the places we visited this place was the worst! Our room was nice and clean, great view of the ocean. The pool was dirty. We rented a motor bike and the owner yelled at us for riding 3 on a scooter even though it's legal. We were not told it wasn't ok when we rented the bike....

I have to admit; I was not happy when I arrived at Lamai Chalet. It was not especially nice to look at, and the cottages was rather simple. But already the next day we could feel the nice and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is small and quit. The food is fantastic! The cottages were cleaned every day. We were two...

The advertisement is lying. The hotel is filthy and the staff is grumpy. The BIG owner has his own chair in the middle of the restaurant which doesn't feels Ok. The pool is very very small and what is called a childrens pool is big enough for my feet feet. I booked the hotel because of the pool and The...

We were in the cheapest rooms but it would have been better in a higher standard room as the rooms didn't have a fridge or hot water. We didn't NEED anything more though. The resort is in a really nice spot, on the beach with the resort pool right next to the loungers. It is a bit of a walk...

Wouldnt say That the staff is unfriendly but theyre not able to speak a single word english. The worst about lamai charlet is its owner. I'm pretty sure...

Resort staff didn't know much English. Resort owner wasn't very friendly at first and a bit grumpy to be honest. After a few days he then spoke to me. If you're German or Swiss then you might be greeted a bit better... It's not in a great location and a bit difficult to find at first. Rooms were kept clean....

We got to lamai chalet in high spirits, which where soon quashed when we met the owner he was rude, offensive and made in appropriate death threats! Which although where a joke, wouldn't put it past him! The room we paid for was air conditioned but instead we got a fan room! There where ants all over our room. The...

Arrived at Lamai Chalet with a 3 day booking which has since turned into a long turn stay. So far we have changed our booking to 5 weeks with the option to extend. We were welcomed by the staff and shown our accommodation which was clean and homely. The Owner, Pumpey, and his wife, Kob, run an efficient operation and...
